Lottery-ball z

Guys, our baseline Jazz bad luck is being compounded by negative Ainge karma coming back on him. We’re collateral damage, on top of our typical lack of basketball god favor.

Mikel Bridges is the best player drafted at 10 in the last 10 years. Most ended up as busts.

We also need to employ the Cavs method. Send one of the owners kids or maybe he can adopt a puppy with autism or something. We need to guilt them into giving us a top 4 pick.

They aren’t tanking. They just suck at being good.
Yeah that's why no one says much about it. But my point was to the tank harder crowd, blaming last year and this year for the jazz' problems.

It wouldn't change that the jazz lotto history suggests they will not or would not get the #1 pick even with the worst record.

Yes obviously gives you a better chance but the people acting like it would've fixed everything is stupid.

What you guys did expect, Jazz once again won too many games.
If you wanna tank for TOP5 lottery pick tank right and lose a lot.
But don't win TOO MANY GAMES godsake

Tanking requires trading your win now players so if you wanna tank and rebuild do it right then
and trade away Markkanen, Sexton, Clarkson, Collins and one of the Dunn, THT and Kessler.

But if your goal is get TOP10 lottery pick and get stuck on mediocrity then go and win 30-35 games per season.
2025 and 2026 NBA drafts are deep elite talent so go full tank mode seasons 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 to get some of those elite talents ( Flagg, Boozer etc ).

When you're rebuilding rebuild right then and lose 60-70 games per season that's real tanking and rebuilding.

I just don't get what we are doing. I'm sure this has been discussed but we try the last two season, get into the play-in race then decide to tank in February. This is costing us valuable positioning. We should either have been tanking or building around Lauri. It just kind of feels like we are in no mans land right now. I like Hendricks, Sens and Keyonte but are they serious pieces? Now we pick 10th in what I've heard is a weak draft.
