So should we empty the treasure chest and pull in LBJ and Booker? Promise LBJ we'll keep one draft pick to get his son? Is it even possible? Where does that get us?

One year of getting swept in first round and back to the tank with less draft capital

I don't really think either are available or will be available.

The Suns have no reason to rebuild. They don't own their own draft picks and so their best options to be good in the future is to retool with assets from Durant around Booker.

LBJ would retire before coming to Utah.

I think you are probably right, but Utah does have a long track record of Klutch clients and the Wade ownership connection.

I think it's highly highly unlikely, but maybe if Utah swings other moves (like Booker) and drafts Bronny, maybe he would do it.

If we could get Booker and keep Lauri I could see LBJ wanting to go where he felt he had one more run as the king of it all. Imagine his legacy if he brought rings to 4 different franchises. Crazy.

I've only superficially read articles about this, but the impression I get is he wants to stay in LA and isn't going to go chase another ring.

No

Bronny starting his adult life by being babysat by his dad and living in Salt Lake City, poor kid.

Is it even possible?
No

Eliminated in the play-in

Things are bleak in Jazz land

No matter what you tell him. I don’t think he wants anything to do with Utah and he most certainly doesn’t want to finish his career here. Plus whether he wants to believe it or not I think he sees the writing on the wall that his son isn’t nba material.
