So if he develops as a shooter like projected, defends well, is an above average athlete, moves the ball, great size then that is a recipe for a top 30 player.
This is what I saw CY. It's skewed but the numbers say he will be a good 3pt shooter.

I read 76% for his free throw rate which matches Castle but he doesn't have a hitch in his shot and the ball spins appropiately and his arms and hands are set pretty good in a good pocket. Being that he is young there is a chance he reaches another level when he doesn't have to think too much...
I think he will develop as a long distance shooter based on the free throw rate and flashes of a shot - no mid range shot. I believe he guards the perimeter and protects the rim. There may be a lot bigs like that but if you can get a piece cheaply as second rounder then I would do it.
Not a...
Yeah, everyone's good but it's flashes that can be added on top. His getting the ball in the post sucks royally but other things with only a couple years playing is impressive. If he is average now, then if he is really taught how good can he be?
Proganda post. Quickness on defense, protects the rim and roams quickly. Horribly raw catching the ball in the post, but hits a three and shows some flashes of good touch. Passes the ball. He is a second rounder that could get super good with a focused development plan which is what the Jazz...
When I trade a pick, I will slice it 30.different ways and I will sell each slice of that pick to each team in the league for their best player or interesting depth piece.
Sign me up. A super team created with one super sliced pick protections. Memphis, gives us Ja for the 22nd position of...
Ok yeah I can see it as a low cost move for another team if they don't value the 2nd rounder doing it. But then again the Jazz are near the front of the line on the second round. I don't think the Lakers would want Bronny on a first. Also, it becomes kind of joke for another team trade - they...
I can imagine the discussions. Yes we will trade you Gianniss for the top 4 position of the 2027 pick. If we are really bad in the lottery you have a 26% chance. If we are barely in the lottery you have 3% chance. But more likely we are in the playoffs and you have a 0% chance at it.
While...
The Jazz can package it more convincly in another trade if they get all the outcomes. The value goes up. But another team would not like the pick whole heartedly if there is a 24% chance it is not there. Or conversely a team may not want the 1-4 spots if there is a 76% chance that the Jazz...
I suppose you could do that kind of weird stuff with the pick. I imagine the Lakers would keep it a top 1 protected pick for the Jazz and do the Bronny deal with us.
Desert News says they are working scenarios to not have all three picks. Remove protections off of the 2027 pick can only be done with the Jazz so maybe there is something there. I think removing protections is worth value wise an average 1st round pick. It could be Clarkson + Bronny for the...
