So I thought I'd start off with someone a bit different. Less rehash of Middleton and a bunch of the other guys we want and more in this particular post of someone who intrigues me.

John Jenkins. Known as a killer three point shooter...43.9%, 40.8%, 48.3% at Vandy...44.4% in limited time this year. We need more shooting. He's young. He'd be really cheap. He knows the system. Quin knows him. I think he could be an interesting project and someone who has the potential to turn into a great perimeter shooter, something we still really need.

Good shooter, but I'm not sure if he adds anything else. Doesn't pass much, doesn't defend, doesn't rebound. Pretty meh guy to me.

I'd rather get a guy like Kyle Singler. OKC won't be able to afford much, could be had for decently cheap.

Rodney Stuckey is fairly underwhelming, but he could also provide some good minutes.

Lavoy Allen would make a good backup.

Hell, if we want a shooter, Luke Babbit is doing pretty good at that.

Alexis Ajinca could be an interesting backup to Rudy...that'd be a perpetually tall lineup.

Kyle O'Quinn would also be a good backup.

Please expound. I'm talking as a 10th-12th guy but someone who could develop into a 8th man over time maybe as that dead-eye shooter.

For realistic FAs. Not including the often talked-about Millsap/Wes Matthews/Middleton/Danny Green/Caroll etc etc

Main ones
I'd throw an offer sheet at Cory Joseph. I think he can be a 15/4/5ish guy.

I'd also throw an offer sheet at Jae Crowder.

Dorrell Wright as a cheap bench dude who can shoot.

Reggie Evans as a cheap 4th big. Instant fan favorite, seems like a cool dude, experienced, tough as nails, crashes the boards. Also, I think it'd be entertaining as hell and hilarious seeing him and Booker on the court at the same time.

Brandon Bass, Amir Johnson (I like him if he can stay healthy), Kosta Koufos, Omri Casspi (energy guy), Luke Babbit (cheap stretch 4, not sure how his defense is), Luc Mbah a Moute (good defender, not a good shooter), Cole Aldrich (cheap 4th big who I think can actually be decent with some minutes)
