What's new

Jazz @ Celtics 5:30 MT

I remember when KSL carried the radio broadcasts. They would tape-delay the Jazz broadcast after the BYU game.

Yes, and I remember the ksl TV games, I was so bummed when they went to kjzz because we didn't have cable tv. I had to sneak over to my grandmas and watch the games.

I agree about the back to back thing. That's the NBA. For the Jazz to truly turn a corner they need to stop playing down to their competition.

I don't think it's the Jazz playing down to the competition, it's just the nature of the team. They now have the defense to be in any game regardless of the opponent, but they don't have the offense to blowout many teams.

I would offer up the Lakers game and tonight as an example.

Conversely, I'd mention last night, SA and the Blazers games.

Surely, they have the offense to blow out these Celtics, though. Most of their roster is lucky to have a job this side of Atlantic, including some starters.

I think the Lakers game is an example of playing down to the competition, and it is true that the Celtics are playing much harder than the Jazz right now. But when a team tries really hard they can defend the Jazz pretty well. They aren't that great offensively.

I don't really think any of those games were real blowouts tbh. Especially last night's game.

How can no one correct this ****ty C's announcer? He says Haywood every time. Not that hard to just tell him it's Hayward
