Correction, if hes motor is low because hes just been better than everyone his whole life. If hes a dick head nothing will fix it. Motor can be changed in an instant though and fixing a jumper can take years.
Johnson isn't dominating anything like Randle did last year.... or even Bennett the year before that. I'm not saying he'll be a bust, but I'm not seeing how he's an elite prospect.

Honestly, if he were an elite prospect, we wouldn't be talking about him out of the top 5. He has flaws. The question is, are they flaws that can be overcome? Or will he flame out because of them. I think he's a great defender who would be rock solid on the perimeter. Don't know about his offense, but I have a TON of faith in Quin Snyder's ability to develop players. If the Jazz are lucky to steal him at 12 (or even trade up for him using Burke or a future pick) then the Jazz should be elated.

Maybe poor man's Mirotic?

interesting reading chad fords big board 7.0. I think scouts are already talking down players and talking up other players so they can get the player they want.
Winslow is playing better and showed he could be a decent scorer when okafor went out
Johnson's comments are pretty laughable but he has him at 12 if that happened I would be dancing outside naked painted with jazz colors.
Russell has come down to earth but he won't get the attention he is getting defensively in the nba #4 seems about right.
looney is funny because he is drafted completely on upside but #6? I like the guy but #6?
hezonja not getting the playing time due to players coming back from injury I hope he slides because out of site out of mind. the big dance is coming that can vault a lot of players and hezonja won't be playing much.
porzingis is another big bust big potential pick. he is the kind of player that can get a gm fired. think Bargnani.
I was shocked to see Justin Anderson not even in the top 30. I would give up our pick next year for him.

Vezenkov is the name I keep hearing for our 2nd rounder. Anybody else anyone is interested in? Here are some of the college guys I might look into, mostly either backup 5s or wings depending on what happens earlier in the draft. 2nd rounders can be so hard to predict though

Johnson and Anderson would be a ridiculous haul for where the Jazz project to be picking.
Depending on who falls to the second, I'd probably look at Dunn(PG), Justin Anderson, Timothe Luwawu(he's a prime defensive prospect, but is very raw offensively)... Christmas has been pretty good this year but is kind of old already. He might be worth it with the second of our second rounders.
I actually feel like stashing players is the best use of the second rounders right now, because we don't really have many roster spots open and the ones we have we probably will be looking to fill with experienced veterans to fortify our rotation. Candidates for draft and stash: Vezenkov, Luwawu, Osman, Buza, Sipahi...
Osman and Vezenkov are the ones I love most out of them. what do you think about Cedi?
Is Booker's shooting as legit as everyone here used to think it is? If he has an off night shooting wise, can he do other things to contribute? Hood is shooting well right now, why not grab someone with another set of skills?
