What is the worst call you made concerning the Utah Jazz?

What was the thing the you were the MOST wrong on concerning the Utah Jazz? Mine is that I hated Bryon Russell as a rookie. Every time he got in the game he would screw up and I would demand that the Jazz cut his sorry ***. Seriously hated the guy with a white hot passion was severely critical of his ability to even play basketball. I was young yet and probably didn't have a lot of patience with rookies like I should have.

Cutting Bryon Russell probably wouldn't have been a prudent move. . .

I was excited about Kirk Snyder and Kris Humphries, hoping we got a steal in the 2004 draft.

Wanted the Jazz to pick Mouhamed Saer Sene in the '06 draft. Was super disappointed when he didn't fall to us.
I will now go light myself on fire.

Wanted nothing to do with Dante Exum in the draft. I wasn't buying the pre-draft hype of his length + athleticism = top 5 player. Just didn't see what everyone else did on his film. Got a good look at him in Summer League and immediately changed my mind. Still think that despite his struggles, he has the most potential for greatness on this team outside of anyone not born in France.

I thought Burke would be a stud with the rest of the young core. Still time for that to change, but not holding my breath.

I thought that Getting Bell (the second time) was a good move.

1. I thought Fesenko was going to develop into a great center.
2. I wanted Xavier Henry in the draft at #9.
3. Thought Mo was going to be a very solid fit (starter for 2 years and then mentor). OOPS!

Called Aldrich a bust but after he schooled Gobert, maybe there IS hope for him. Nah, I take that back. Teams have just scouted Gobert and now know how to play against him. Rudy is going to have to elevate his game. Jazz are winning, but Gobert has had a couple of bad games in a row against Lopez and Aldrich.

Was excited about Borchardt. Thought Pavlovic would be stellar (we didn't even protect him -- blunder move, though, protecting Collins). Thought trading Russell and Marshall, according to rumor, for Van Horn would be a terrible deal (hindsight that would have been awesome). I was right about a number of things, though.

I thought Ty would be a good coach
I booed Hayward when he got drafted
I thought CJ Miles was going to develop into a star
I thought Brandon Knight would have been the better draft pick over Kanter (oh, wait, I was right on that)

I thought after Larry died that KOC and Greg were passively driving our team into the ground.

Oh, wait...

I thought Brevin Knight would be a great backup to Deron in our system.
