None of the angles are conclusive, it just BS the refs had it to decide that it was. It's nearly impossible to tell, even with slow motion replay. That's a no call in my book.

Did the call have to be upheld via replay? If so, it seems like a bad call. In real time I wouldn't blame the refs for calling it.

It was wide right in that it would not have gone it. Even from that angle part of the ball is above the rim .... If I had photoshop I'd draw you a line straight up from the rim and it would go into the ball. Goaltending.

Not sure if this part of the NCAA rules has been updated since the 2009-10 version Wikipedia linked to, but in those rules, part of the criteria for goaltending includes:

"The entire ball is above the level of the ring and has the possibility, while in flight, of entering the basket and is not touching the cylinder."
