Denver • Deron Williams is midway through a career year. He is considered by many to be the premier player in the NBA at his position. And the Jazz guard has now made two consecutive All-Star teams, according to Yahoo! Sports.

it's true. NBA email says reserves are:

Tim Duncan, San Antonio
Manu Ginobili, San Antonio
Pau Gasol, L.A. Lakers
Blake Griffin, L.A. Clippers
Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas
Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City
Deron Williams, Utah

Ray Allen, Boston
Chris Bosh, Miami
Kevin Garnett, Boston
Al Horford, Atlanta
Joe Johnson, Atlanta
Paul Pierce, Boston
Rajon Rondo, Boston

Duncan over Kevin Love? I don't know about that. Guess reputation and past accomplishments mean more than the current performance.

Kevin Love got screwed. Maybe they'll make him an injury replacement for Yao.

Also 75% of the EC All-Stars are from three teams (Boston, Miami, Atlanta) and more than half are from two teams. That's NOT good for competitive equity.

I agree with 100% of this post. I almost wish that the Jazz would leave Utah so I could stop watching the NBA.

Not that surprising since they all decided they couldn't win on their own teams. 90's basketball is officially dead in every sense of the word. We're now in an era in which you either have 0 star power or an all-star team on any given team.

let's see -
Love : PER - 24.6 - 21.4 PPG on 47%, 10.7 RPG
Duncan: PER - 21.4 - 13.6 PPG on 48%, 9.4 RPG

Love got screwed

Love was ripped off, but somehow I see Stern giving him some Love.
That was terrible.

Oh, I see D-Will recovering before the all-star game.

Judging by his epic facepalm at the end of the Houston game, I wouldn't be shocked to see him back in the starting lineup tomorrow night.

Duncan over Love is a terrible call. I would argue that Love is playing better than Griffin this year! Probably the only time though. Griffin will be INSANE over the next couple years.

Whatever helps you justify your belief that we are better off without him...

BOOZER REIGNS SUPREME.

I would give up Boozer for Griffin faster than a fat kid would throw away celery.

I thought DWill was gonna make Jefferson an All-Star??

Off-topic but I thought Jefferson was supposed to be a BEAST in the low-post, but I'd much rather see Boozer down there (& i loooathe Loozer) from what he's shown thus far!!
