2015 NBA Playoffs

FWIW here is my post from a few pages back where I say that Jordan is my guy over LeBron..... and its not even close.
Good post.
Jordan was SUCH a fantastic scorer and seemed to just raise his level of play so much in big games and big moments that I have to give the edge to Jordan. And its actually an easy choice for me.

And I always hated Jordan and have always been a huge LeBron homer.

Imo no one compares to Jordan still.

Lebron belongs with Wilt, bird, magic, russell, shaq, Duncan

I put Kobe with guys like Isaiah, Malone, Barkley, hakeem, kareem

I think Jordan is in his own tier, LeBron is in the second tier, Kobe is in the third tier.

However, Jordan did have better teams and coaches than LeBron and im simply saying that if LeBron had a similar coach and supporting cast as Jordan, then he may have as many or more championships as Jordan..... But we will never know because Cleveland is horrible at building around LeBron.

The flaw in the argument that the better player has the better final record couldn't be clearer than in the LeBron versus Kobe debate. Kobe has a better finals record, but LeBron >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Kobe.

Like, waaaaay better, braughs.
Yep.

success vs good, better, best

People need to learn the difference between career team success and good, better, best. Kobe, Fisher and Horry more successful team careers, LeBron >>>>>>> those three guys terms of who is better at playing basketball.

i'm kinda tired of media picking and choosing stats like that. it was OT game and bron had a poor shooting night. i'm sure there's better triple double stat line.

Picking and choosing? It's just a fact. No one has ever had 37 points, 18 rebounds, 13 assists in a playoff game before.

Why are we discussing the Jordan vs. Lebron foolishness while the playoffs are going on??? We should be discussing and OUTRAGED at the double standard just set by the lousy league and front office of this pathetic NBA as they have handed down there ruling and NOT suspended Howard for hitting Boguts in the head with his flailing backhand in last nights game!!! What a crock of bull! Howard did much worse than what Horford did...and he get's a free pass??? R.J. Puke get's suspended for 2 games for doing the same thing and Howard gets a free pass? As far as this Jordan/Lebron thing everybody in town knows that Lebron will break everyone of Jordans individual records, but will be hard pressed to win 6 championships before he's finished. He's got 2 now, and is going to be a heavy underdog in this years Finals. He needs 4 more to catch Jordan? Not going to happen!

What happened the two years that LeBron had those two players in their primes and healthy? Chips

Maybe if bron had wade and bosh for 6 straight years healthy and in their primes he would have six chips.
Or if bron had pippen, rodman, kukoc, kerr, and phil maybe he would have six chips.

most likely bron would've had 6 chips, but in reality bron did lose 2 championships with wade & bosh. and they hypothetical argument really doesn't work because we won't even know if dennis rodman falls in love with bron and damage him pyschologically. or maybe pippen thinks him and bron are too much alike, and he won't like being the 2nd banana.

and it's not always about the ring. it's about the dominance. MJ was so damn dominant. i mean he was so far ahead of his peers, it really wasn't that close.

i think Bron will go down as the 2nd greatest of all time - ahead of magic, kareem, wilt, russell, duncan, hakeem, etc, etc. and that is a tremendous accomplishment.

I agree with most of this.
Like I said earlier, I pick mj everytime and don't think twice or long about the choice.

I just think that when people say Jordan got 6 rings and was undefeated while LeBron only has 2 rings and three finals losses that you have to realize that jordans teammates and coach were pretty impressive while some of LeBron teammates and coaches (Mike Brown as coach and eric snow as starting pg lol) have been pretty pathetic

The fact that LeBron 'went back home to try to win a Chip for Cleveland' is pretty great I think. Michael never did that. He just stayed in his comfort zone with Phil and Pippen and Chicago.

If he wins it this year for Cleveland I think that puts him right up there with Michael considering he has to lead a group of misfits & a rookie HC.

....I think you must be hallucinating on some power marijushee! Of course, you weren't around when Wilt played, so you have an excuse there! If it's not about the rings, then Jordan falls to about 4th on the list, because he has few, if any, career stats that match Wilt, Duncan, and Kareem! If it's about the rings then Kareem, Duncan and Russell are right there with Jordan. In fact, Russell is so far ahead of Jordan that it's laughable! Kareem had the only unstoppable shot, not Jordan. Wilt averaged 50 points a game one season! Lebron will end up passing all of Jordan's career statistical achievements, but not his 6 rings.

Man, I haven't watched much of this series....but I sure thought Atlanta...backs against the wall.....would keep it a little closer.

Millsap has been pretty poor in teh playoffs.

Really interested to see what he gets in the off-season. He has shot under 40% in his last 3 years of being in the post-season.

I really wish we could get Millsap to be our 3rd big. I know he is going to chase his last big contract (or his 1st big one really), but he would be a perfect 3rd big.

Here's a little tip for Atlanta ... instead of bleeting about someone playing too hard ... PLAY HARDER YOURSELVES

What I don't like is Horford go crying to the Media that it was Delly's fault, when it was him pulling Delly to the floor. 'Brotherhood' my ***.

I just lost all respect for him after that.
