Following potential 2015 draftees

i want turner more then Johnson right now. I think the Jazz can steal Barnes away from GSW and the biggest need is Center.

Exum, FA or Burks, who ever makes it
Hayward, Burks, Millsap or again compete for position
Barnes, Hood, Ingles
Favors, Lee, Evans? again competition
Gobert, Turner, Pleiss or Motum or again competition

I'd be dancing with joy if we land any of Johnson, Turner or WCS... Dekker - not so much...

You and I have the same mindset. I know a few others are on the Johnson & Turner train. I'm hoping Portis, Booker or Kaminsky wow a team and are drafted prior to us so we can get Johnson or Turner. And if neither are there Kaminsky would be a nice alternative (or trading the pick if a good deal is there). I just don't see the Pistons passing on Johnson (unless Hezonja is there at 8 and even then they still might draft Johnson).

I wouldn't hate that result, but I'd doubt that the Warriors tanked to get Barnes just to give him to the Jazz in order to keep Green. Yeah, Lee's contract is an albatross (and I'm perfectly fine buying assets over the next two seasons.) I just don't see it. Probably cost the Jazz some draft picks.

Still wish they would have just drafted Antetokounmpo and Gobert in 2013. Would have made the Jazz the most interesting team in the league heading into next year. To have three young, long, defensive minded potential franchise caliber players on the same team. . . plus Hayward and Favors. That's my dream team right there. Gotta figure out scoring and spacing. . . but damn!

The Greek Freak is that 3/4/5 that we covet.

i remember when I said that we should sign dellevedova this off season and was laughed at. Who is laughing now
I didn't laugh at you, but I wasn't sure that he was the right fit with Exum and how the Jazz are looking to develop Dante. Considering how the Cavs use Delly (off the bench for defense and hustle) I think Ive changed my mind on that. Not sure that he'd come to the Jazz without a hefty contract and a promise to start. Doubt he wants to go from backing up Irving to backing up Exum.

Wait I know this one. Hang on....um....give me a second. Think think think.....oh yeah, I got it....ME...no no no, wait, YOU, right?

Or was it fish? He likes to lol I know that.

Ok I'm going to go with fish...final answer!

Wait, can I phone a friend?

GS has to get rid of Lee... between luxury tax and his salary they can save $50 M by getting rid of him and not taking salary back. That is a lot of dough.

That said they can probably get Philly to take Lee by using the 30th pick (they need to use it first so timing is a little weird) and their 2019 pick or Ezeli. Don't think they will need to give up Barnes.

No on WCS, we already have a center that can't shot further than 4' away from the basket.

If WCS is still on the board and we don't pick him we've gone full spazz. We could flip him to Boston and get one of their BKN picks and the 15... or just keep him and no one ever scores a basket on us... ever.

BTW just like I insinuated DX now has Vezenkov jumping into the first round to the Grizzlies. Damn, did he really get a promise? According to reports Hollinger was there to meet him and and Aris management yesterday... hm...

didn't they zero in on Jordan Adams super early last year... did they make a promise to them as well. I could see them wanting him.

how come they can meet but we can't meet with Tomic?

Yah, another unathletic but skillful player who can shoot the ball... interesting. They are looking for spacing anywhere they can find it I guess... I wonder if they are going to give Adams more minutes next season.

Because Vezenkov has declared for the draft and if he wasn't involved in competitions in Europe he would most likely be in the US where he'd be working out for teams and meeting with them, just like other prospects do(Porzingis I think will be working out for some teams next weeks). I would also guess it was done with the approval of Aris. They stand to profit if he goes to the NBA, because Vezenkov has a buy-out(about 500K - his NBA buyout is 2x his Euro buy out, so they'd prefer if he was bought out by an NBA team) and Aris as far as I know are not in a very good financial situation so they can use the money.

Tomic is a different story, he's a player under contract who's already been drafted so he's under different set of rules, I would assume.

Only watched Adams play against us, but i liked him. Vinsanity looks like he's ready for the glue factory.

It's kind of weird that the father of basketball analytics would go for unathletic guys who by most analytical models don't project to do great in the league.
About Vince... he looked like he's forgotten how to shoot in the last off-season. I don't know if he can contribute enough to justify his place on the roster if he can't knock down an open shot at this point.

Having him, Exum, Favors, and Gobert on the floor would be a disaster for spacing. This is not spilled milk to cry over.

Analytics models loved Adams... he got a ton of steals.

The official decision maker of the Kings is now Vlade Divac, who has no GM experience. DL get him on the damned phone now... they are primed for a screw up. We need to be talking with them every day.

Pete D' (their prior GM) has left for the Nuggets. Can we get the #6 on the cheap?

I think it's a real possibility that Johnson falls to us. I'm not totally sold on his though, but he would be a good pick up.
