No, he is like the forgotten man in this draft. That will provide an interesting side story on draft night. Did Stanley have a promise, did his agent miss the market? Does he slip out of top 10? Is he hiding something?

Or he just isn't that good. He was heralded as a big defensive wing, but his length and size are nothing special. He has great strength, that is about his only high level talent.

I mean, I like him alright, but I think he rated where he should be. Late lottery.
 
I don't think I've ever seen him play. Is he any good?

I think I heard he can't shoot but is athletic defensive stopper. What separates Stanley from Hollis-Jefferson? One is mocked I top 10 the other mid 20's.

Hollis-Jefferson is better at everything than Stanley Johnson besides shooting, which their is a huge disparity because RHJ can't shoot at all.

Stanley isn't close to as explosive as athletic as RHJ. He is an OK athlete with great strength.
 
Best thing about Stanley Johnson is that he could be a good small ball 4 like Draymond Green. If he can do that, his value goes up quite a bit in my book.
 
Does anyone have any idea why Daniel Diez and Arturas Gudaitis are not listed in staying in or leaving the upcoming draft? DX doesn't have them listed anywhere but are still in their mock draft.

A lot of a players development is the situation. Look at Kawhi Leonard in San Antonio. No way he's as good if he's anywhere else.

So yeah, whoever we get I will be happy with because we have an elite training staff and I will trust DL's decision making.

I just finished the Locke & Ford pod cast, that is who they compared him too. Which makes it seem all the stranger that he is not talked about more.

Totally. That's why his measurements were so disappointing, though I guess he's still young.
