Following potential 2015 draftees

from Sam Smith....

Watch Utah and Trey Burke. They’re still looking for a distributing point guard. There should be someone there at No. 12, like Cameron Payne. But they could make a move if there isn’t. They believe they are just that position away from making a big move into the playoffs

I'll give everyone a cast iron lock for the draft. The Jazz will not be drafting a point guard in the lottery for the 3rd year in a row. The last thing we need is more youth at that position.

Kelly is the US version of Her Lasagna:

It feels like to me Kelly Oubre is going to be a bust. He likes to talk like he is so great, and I just can't see it. In one of his interviews he talks about being a combination of James Harden and I think Jimmy Butler, and Leonard, but better. Now he's calling out all the other draft picks.

It sounds like words coming from a dumb kid and not someone who can really back it up.

I'm calling Oubre a bust. That's my gut feeling.

Hearing teams are red flagging Rashad Vaughn's knee but there's a lot of speculation he has a promise with Milwaukee at 17, regardless.

Before the knee question I though Vaughn would be the player to blow up all the mocks and get drafted well ahead of the projections. Maybe not now.

Could bust, but I don't think it would be because of lack of skill and tools. If he busts it would be because of lack of dedication and work ethic. I simply don't see him busting if he applies himself. At the very least he will be a great 3 and D guy if he works hard on his craft.

He looks like Nick Young kinda... and now he kinda sounds like him. Swaggy Oubre

Lot of talk of Sam Dekker going in the Top 10. This is a new development. Changes who will be on the board at 12

ESPN's Ryan Russillo was saying something similar this morning.

"So this dumb*** reporter calls me right, and he straight up axes me, "So who are you guys going with at #8?" I've never heard of this guy in my life, and he's asking me to give away the farm. So I get all quiet-like, and say "Is this off the record?" I can hear him getting excited and breathing heavy like he just broke the Enigma code. "Yeah, man completely anonymous." I say, "Now I don't wanna see any of this **** on the Twitter. I'm just giving you a heads up so you can start preparing the fans to like our guy, right?" He gets all solemn and says "Whatever you say." And I drop "Sam Dekker." He kinda chokes and stammers, "The guy from Wisconsin?" I say, yep "We had our eye on him BEFORE the tournament, and he showed us everything we wanted to see." He says "Isn't that a bit high for Dekker?" I says, "We are actually worried that he may not fall to us. We are exploring options to trade up." I can just see this guy's eyes widening like everything he has ever believed has been a lie. Probably gonna stop going to church. Anyways, I hang up the phone, tell the boys what I just did and we laugh our ***es off. Friggen' Sam Dekker!!!

Oubre defends though... if Nick Young defended he would be a good player in the league.

I think he could defend... defense isn't Nick Young's only problem. I just think the guy is overly cocky... like Nick.

I have a feeling we could end up with Portis. Reminds me a little of Millsap in that he can do a little of everything, undersized forward, and plays with a chip on his shoulder. The kid is a hard worker, and has a good character. We could do a lot worse that is for sure. I think hed fit this team like a glove.

Undersized forward? He is 6'11 with a 7'2 wingspan.

Yeah heard you say that a couple of times now. What do you actually mean by that?

Jumpstart the offense. If Payne can transition into the NBA smoothly, they can end up drafting what they surely hope to develop with Trey. Ive always said PG's and C's affect the overall identity of the team more than the 2/3/4 which are positions trending towards amorphism. A swap from Trigger-finger, ol predictable Trey - to hopefully a slicker PG with a better feel for the game and palatable shooting percentages could really have a monstrous effect on the offense. crisper ball movement and shooting. With the defense in place, the Jazz could cruise to the playoffs. They have to at-least consider it if they feel he's a better prospect than Trey, I think he is.

never have i been as equal parts of humored, furious and disgusted at the end of a game.

as when LaVine torched the Jazz and Trey tried to match him. that **** was totally unnecessary.

Sorry... that saying actually means to do something highly unlikely. Wasn't sure if you were saying he was fast and good or if you meant he had a low chance of panning out.

Is there anyone in this draft with a clean slate as far a injury goes. Sheesh

He doesn't have an injury... the concerns about him are all due to his gait. People think that if he doesn't fix it, it will be detrimental for him long-term.
