What's new

Following potential 2015 draftees

That won't happen in time unless it's arranged before the draft.

IMO, the Heat will probably still draft, maybe the trade is a smokescreen to attract offers.

They do want to offer big deals to Dragic and possibly Monta Ellis. They have Bosh coming back and probably want to win now. Their pg situation is thin though Napier coming off a hernia.

I'm sure 90% of all draft day trades are ones that have been discussed prior to the day of the draft, so I'm not sure how doing a trade like that isn't possible.

If Porzingis is really going to drop to 6 per DX, the Jazz should get busy. George Karl wants win-now players. Cousins might not take to Porzi either.

I could see Hezonja in NY.

I've heard Cousins wants WCS. I'd offer them to pick WCS for them and offer them Burks + 12 + next years first for them to pick Porzingis for us. +Take on Landry's contract.

Why wouldn't Cousins like Porzingis?

Porzingis might be a couple years from having a big impact and might not help with the defense and rebounding load. Cousins reportedly wants Cauley-Stein.

I could see Denver offering Lawson and/or Faried for Porzingis though.

Nice. Well played. That ought to be enough.

Maybe give them Trevor Booker and keep our future pick.

If Cauley-Stein isn't there at 12, there would have to be a back-up plan.

Yeah, although I would try and snag Stauskas back in hope he can turn it around.

Except Boogie ain't calling the shots, at all.

Well, LeBron wasn't calling the shots in Miami either, but they still traded up to pick up the guy he wanted in an attempt to keep him. I'm not saying he calls the shot, but I'm saying they probably do take his opinion into consideration and the thing that he supposedly wants is not really that outlandish and ridiculous. It actually makes a lot of sense for their roster.

did yall see the history of George Karl coached players tweeting out "Snakes in the grass" its a decent sized list.

same idiot who was happy to see Shawn Kemp traded for Vin Baker, right?

I'll admit, begrudgingly, that after Corbin was let go, George Karl was a guy I liked as a possible replacement. His up-tempo offense was intriguing for our young squad and the altitude could finally work in the Jazz favor.

So, so, so effing glad we have Snyder. Budenholzer might be the only guy I'd have liked more, but they would have had to fire Corbin and forget the tank in 2013. No tank = no Exum. I'm pretty damn happy with how things worked out. This team has an extremely exciting future ahead of it.
