I found this bit interesting... something to keep in mind when Gordon hits FA again in 2018?

I’m very, very glad this all happened during the offseason. The timing pretty much worked out perfectly, especially for it being our first baby. It probably won’t be this perfect next time. It was great for us to be able to have all this time together, and be able to do it Indianapolis, which is home for both of us. Both of our families were there for the birth, and for this first month, we’ve had a bunch of help. Her parents are right down the street, and my parents are down the street.

Right on. Glad it worked out that he got to spend this time with his wife, daughter and family. For me nothing else comes before that.
 
Shame on him! Such a selfish guy! What kind of a leader is he? How dare he not be at Summer League! And I mean... not playing - watching... We need him to watch the young players, so he'd learn from them... you know that highlight of a basketball tournament that the SL is, so much to learn from...

We should probably just trade him. Or better yet... maybe even waive him.
 
Doesn't live in Utah. Didn't spend time with his teammates this summer. Better trade him now. He's just going to opt out and sign with the Pacers in two more years.

This sarcasm piece was uncalled for. Yeah Mr. Hayward had a baby, who the **** cares... To me he will always be the spoiled brat that I hope helps the Jazz win a few rings.

Why didn't Ty Corbin know what assistant coaches he wanted the second after Jerry and Phil abruptly quit!!!!

Wow! that is all you found interesting. This article made me a bigger fan of Gordon. He sounds like a great person and I have no doubt he will make a great father.

By then, the Jazz will be competing for NBA Titles, while Indiana will be a middle of the pack Eastern Conference team. He won't leave.
 
I also love that Gordon tweeted out a link to the post with the caption: "Too small, yo!" - 10/10 self awareness.

Makes me think that he will likely resign with Jazz since the organization treated him so well after having a baby. Letting him not worry about some stuff in the offseason and be home with his family as much as possible. I would guess very few organizations are as family friendly as the Jazz.
 
Great read, feel happy for him. It seems he also finds time to work on his game. Couldn't ask for more

I get up around 6 or 7 in the morning, and then let Robyn take a two or three hour nap before I have to go work out
