Summer 2015: FIBA games of Utah Jazz players

Wonder if his ankle was bugging him when he came out of the game in the third he did sprain it again and thats why he didnt go back in. Or maybe he had minute restrictions per Jazz.

Or maybe it's because he had four fouls ... Or maybe it's because it's the first of several "friendlies" and the coach didn't care about winning/losing and was just trying some stuff out ... Or maybe the coach had something in mind none of us can imagine ...

Who knows?

The important thing is he apparently looked pretty good and the Jazz will have that pretty good player in the fall.

I hope that Motum makes the team...he is a promising player!

I don't like Chris Johnson game....he has changed 6 teams in 3 seasons, it means something!

A fair point-- but Carroll bounced around teams. Whiteside bounced around teams. Doesn't really matter that that much IMO.

Are you sure he resprained it? It looked to me like he just took his shoe off, readjusted the brace that had slipped, and then laced up again with no noticeable pain whatsoever.
Yeah, I was watching on a small screen but it looked like his shoe came off. He was trying to get it back on and finally had to sit down to do it.

Johnson. He has a decent shot, can play defense and is fairly athletic. Motum can shoot, but no defense and no rebounding. No thanks.

Motum also looks like a half-melted orange creamsicle with the orange already eaten off.

Really doesn't make sense why they didn't play Exum significantly more and why, when they did, they had him off-ball at the 2. Almost all of his touches ended with something good happening.

Yes it does. We have a long history of dopey **** coaches and officials who favour the wrong players. The coach seems to love Gibson and Broekhoff.

The same thing happened at the world cup tourney last year, he hardly played but when he did most of his touches resulted in something good. Lemanis was a chump of a player who never achieved any more than being the 9th or 10th player in an Australian League team and i rate his coaching about the same

Um, it is just a preparation game. How much should he play?

Ok but come on man, Chris Johnson is not a big deal in my opinion.

Who would you keep between him and Motum?

Gonna wait by the end of preseason to make that call. If I had to guess now, I'd say Chris Johnson. Motum will have to show significant scoring potential throughout the preseason in order to make me consider him (like, 15-25 point games throughout). He's too bad defensively to expect anything less (can't rebound for a living either).

Well neither probably. If had to take one, I would keep Johnson. His skillset matches the most important skills for his position-outside shooting and defense. Motum inability to rebound or defend around the basket is a killer.

Why are people complaining Dante only played 20 minutes?

This is FIBA basketball and it's an exhibition game. You aren't going to be playing guys a ton of minutes.

Probably cause we are jazz fans and like to see our players play as much as possible.

I wish he was playing every minute of every game in this tourney (as long as he stays healthy).

I'm not mad at the coach for only playing him 20 minutes though.... It's not his job to make jazz fans happy

To play a guy 40 straight minutes every game would be beyond retarded. He would get injured or worn down before the season started.

I didn't say he should get played 40 per game. And I said that I don't blame the coach for only playing him 20 min.
I simply said as a jazz fan I want to see the jazz players play as much as possible as long as it doesn't effect their health.

Apparently you might be retarded

You said "as much as possible" which would be the entire 40 minutes.
