Superbad would make the start of my favorites list as well as many of the Cera/Rogen/Jonah/Hader style of comedy. Juno was one of the funniest films of all time but as others have said re-watchability plays into it a ton and I've never had interest in watching that one twice. I remember Pineapple Express being funny as hell too but never wanted to see it twice.

Pineapple Express is funny but Big Lebowsky is annoying? I guess there is no accounting for taste.

Some of my favorite movies in no particular order:

Persona
Abre Los Ojos
Rashomon
Pelle the Conqueror
Network
Paths of Glory
Downfall
The Sixth Sense
Monty Python Life of Brian
Stand by me
Amores Perros
The Bicycle Thief
Ivan's Childhood

This is just off the top of my head. I'm sure I missed some that are in my top 10 or whatever. I also avoided including more than 1 movie by a single director, even though I love several Kurosawa and Bergman movies.

Holy **** I have only even heard of three of those

Super troopers doe

Top 10 comedies in no particular order

The Big Lebowski
Caddyshack
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Anchorman
Superbad
48 Hours
There's Something About Mary
Stripes
Bad Santa
Borat
Pretty good list though I think fsm sucked...... Still love it though because mila kunis is my favorite hottie of all time and she never looked better than in that movie

Also if you have not seen Spy yet, check it out

Edit: super troopers should be on every top ten comedy list no matter what

Pineapple express was definitely a good one.
What did you think of This Is The End?.... I loved it. Topic Thunder too
Danny Mcbride is one of my favorites

I like movies like Anchorman and Super Troopers, but not really sure they hold up for me. I definitely like them less than when I first saw them.

Not sure what you mean. Big Lebowsky is more than 20 years old, and I know plenty of people in their 40s and older who love it.

But like I said, you enjoy what you enjoy.

BL is not more than 20 years old.

To be honest, only person I'd take a recommendation from thus far in the thread is One Love. :p
