The teams that should look good did. Srsly outside of Stanford it wasn't that surprising. A&M should have been ranked, AZ.St was ranked too high. Boise is better than a lot of teams not just Washington. Washington State sux and so does Colorado. Utah looked good, Oregon looked good, UCLA looked good, Cal looked good, AZ. St looked good(despite the L), AZ should have played better D but got the W, and USC is looking real good. Oregon St is still figuring **** out but they got the W. Not a fantastic weekend but not horrible either.

Oregon State struggled to handle a FCS opponent that won 2 games last year. They won but they did not look good in the first half. I did turn the game off at half time. Maybe they corrected things and looked better. But that is a game they should have handled from the start.

Didn't look good but they got the W the core looked Ok and they were supposed to be a bottom tier team in the PAC. Like I said the Stanford game was the only one to surprise me.

Washington result expected push
Washington St sux duh push
Oregon result expected push
Oregon St Looked bad but won push
Cal beat a bad team but scored 73 pts winner
Stanford lost to Northwestern loser
UCLA result expected push
USC will win push
AZ got the win push
AZ St slight loser
Utah expected result but because of hype winner
Colorado SMH

I hope he can do better than Goldman. That place is nothing but a resume stuffer. College grads work 80 hour weeks for $30k/year. That's the expectation for the first 4-5 years, and the gauntlet is brutal and ruthless.

If you're going there, don't expect to rise in rank. Use it as a stepping stone to an actually decent position.

Eastern Washington's star QB from last year starts for Oregon now, yet EW still puts 42 on them. If that's not a red flag......

UCLA and Utah are honestly the only teams I can give any sort of props to in that league for this week. Rosen looke good, Utah was solid overall. Cal and SC both played cake walk games. But Cal is explosive, no doubt. And of course I love SC. I'm not throwing the league under the bus completely by any means though. Some of these teams will look a lot better once their QBs get more experience. I'm just saying week 1 was iffy.

I didn't understand the Stanford pre-season love. Ty Montgomery was their only explosive player last year, teams keyed on him, opened things up elsewhere and they still weren't that good. He goes, and people think they should be better and ranked? Okay. I didn't think NorthWestern would get them though.

AZ DIDN'T LOOK PARTICULARLY GOOD EITHER. AND A&M BLOWS. THEY'LL BE A 7-5 TEAM. AT BEST.

There are companies with licensing agreements with schools that print out those shirts for every type of situation, trying to make a buck. You can find those shirts for every team and they have nothing to do with the Universities themselves.
