What's new

Jazz @ Suns Fri. Oct. 9th at 8pm MDT

Idk, doesn't make sense. Why are the Suns the only ones not to have broadcasted games?

This makes me sad. I may go rewatch the last game sans the first half of the 4th quarter.

Coro actually said this to Andy

@andyblarsen For your Jazz fans, I have learned that the NBA limits the live-stream access to within 75 miles of the arena.

Andy just mistyped.

So I was wondering, does all the blackouts be done for the sake of dragging fans to the arenas? Is this the only reason for this stupidity?

Preseason is even worse than the offseason when they do not show games. The feeling of hunger dies after one point if you don't think about it but if a cook is baking in front of you to shove the hot loaf's buttery smell into your nose, that is worse.

Are they playing at the suns arena? Didn't portland do that last year where they only broadcasted the game because it was at a different arena?

At League Pass it seems like it's going to be available there (i.e. it's listed as any other game).

Same with International League Pass. On the list and hope it's there.

Had trouble w/ the first Hawaii game only having the Recap available for half a day... then the full game finally showed up.
The Recap was total crap... only showed Lakers' plays, showed a Laker basket, Jazz inbounding, then Lakers running back. Only way you had an idea what was happening was to look to see if score incremented. Lasted almost 2 minutes before I blew a gasket and shut it off.

Yeah, forgot to mention I meant international League Pass.

I've never really watched the recaps. If I don't have the time for the full game, I normally skip ahead to the fourth quarter or something. Or at least skip some minutes at a time to see if it's interesting.

so no way to watch the game unless u buy a ticket. Obviously someone is going to score 100 by them selves. I say it's Burks!!

You never know - last pre-season someone found a stream of the OKC's arena video.

Interesting way to watch a game from home.

i noticed that. it was ALL lakers. shocking and disgusting!

All Laker highlights ALL the time. ESPN commentators are contractually obligated to talk about one a few stars and a few teams. It's not reporting, it's butt sucking for money. Laker's vs. Jazz highlights are always converted into 'Kobe won' or 'Kobe was off' highlights. No news there.

NBATV is much better at this, but I think that they were relying on the Laker's video crew for angles. Still, this wasn't like them.

Jazz will not make money like the Cavs, Lakers, Heat, Mavs, Rockets...

I get it.
