Game #15 New Orleans Pelicans @ Utah Jazz -- Sat. Nov. 28th @ 7pm MST

From the Pelican's forum:

Wow their game day threads are on point. We gotta step our game up yall. We kinda look pathetic.

That thread is nice. Visuals, background info, player breakdowns. Wow!

We really don't have any good gif's of Gentry like they have on Snyder

Can you become a pelicans fan and make our GameDay threads?

The answer is NO, I cannot become a Pelicans fan and make their game day threads. Born and bread in Utah, life long Jazz fan, I make my game day threads for the Jazz. Better luck in the next fan draft Pelicans fans.

What's up with Omer Asik? He's got a big contract, didn't play much. Pels need him to rebound and defend if nothing else.

He was -16 in 8 minutes tonight. If that is at all typical of how he plays that would make a pretty good explanation.

I wonder how close he is to Andris Biedrins-ing his way out of the league. I Seem to remember him being decent in Houston a while back.

Yeah I noticed this at the game, all of a sudden I saw him on the court and thought, where has this guy been? Also, as Gameface also pointed out, he moves weird on the court.

Saw him on the court and he was spinning in circles looking really lost. Didn't they just give him 60 million?

Anthony Davis had a +/- of 1 in 44 minutes played and we beat them by 14 points. That's pretty crazy.

If we followed the plan Locke was pitching this off season, go after Jrue Holiday, that wouldn't be looking so hot right now. It probably would have cost use 1 of Burks/Hood, Burke, and a draft pick. I'm not sure Holiday is better than Burke anymore, and that's really strange.

If Favors plays I think it turns out a little different.

Ehh, maybe, or it might have just been the same +/- for Davis with a bigger win from Utah. It's just crazy that we outscored them by 15 points in 4 minutes while Davis was on the bench.

Asik was -15 in 8 minutes. We outscored the pelicans 19-5 in the 3 mins 40 seconds that davis wasn't there.

"I've made a lot of highlights, so when I make comments on the subject, you can be assured that I know what I'm talking about. So believe me when I say this:
Alec Burks has some of the most "highlighty" highlights of any player.
His ratio of lame buckets to cool buckets is off the charts. He can't attempt a normal layup; every drive to the basket must feature acrobatic contortions and lots of english. I don't feel like checking, but it seems that most of his buckets are unassisted. Iso-ball, a dying art practiced almost exclusively by the wizened elders of the NBA, lives on in the young Alec Burks."

Burks looked amazing. Great job by the team despite missing their most important and consistent player so far this year. Really impressive win minus Favors.

While Burks was probably the player of the game, Booker was the man tonight. I wish he could just give half that performance every night.

You deserve every bit of the praise they gave you, and it was definitely going above and beyond the call of duty to make their thread for them.

P.S. I don't think you were actually bread here.

Booker finally showed up, and reminded us we used to like him. Great energy from Burks, Hayward, and Gobert. Hood also had a solid 1st half.

He's not lying, thats a fancy looking 21, 5, 4!!

Glad to see Trevor Booker decided to start his season!! Hopefully thats a sign of things to come. Would be a shame to see him have an off-year going into free agency.
