Wow looks almost unreal... like a beautiful painting.
My thoughts exactly (except that the mountains to your east are the Wasatch (not the Uintas which are beyond Kamas, etc.), and skiing yesterday was amazing! I love living here. That wasn't my view and that pic isn't from today, but it is absolutely amazing living at the base of the Uinta mountains. In the Salt Lake Valley we are fortunate to be surrounded by mountains. On one side we have the massive Uintas, on the other the Oquirrhs. They are all beautiful. I really did miss them during the five years I lived in San Diego. I know, to many, San Diego is almost perfect. But for me, I wanted to be in the presence of the mountains I had known my entire life. They exemplify the seasons. This is the only place I can easily tell North, South, East and West, because it's as easy as looking for the nearest peak. It's comforting to see them. I try not to take them for granted (or for granite, lol) and on days like today I like to take special notice. As I frequently tell my son, you only get so many of these days.
When I lived in San Diego I really missed days like today.

Good pointIt's 5:30 PM, almost dark and 37 degrees lol don't miss it too much
Only 37? It's ****ing 19 out here in NJ. Sucks. Of course we may get 10-24 inches of snow too but not until Friday night which means I won't even get off of school.
God hates me.
We had a couple of weeks here in SLC when it was 10-15 degrees at night, and low 20s in the day. It sucked.
I love the seasons but I'd prefer some Caribbean weather year-round. 83 and sunny with some light rain now and then year round.
I actually like cool weather. I loved Sweden's weather in the summer. Low 70s. Just wonderful. But their winters are bad. So maybe an ideal solution would be New Zealand or something. I hear it's nice.
Problem with Caribbean weather for me is the humidity. Mid-80s with high humidity is great if you're on a vacation, but I wouldn't enjoy living in that climate.
No pics of timpinogas?
I love living here. Not sure I could ever live anywhere else
