I like Teague a lot but I wouldn't give up on Burks for him.
Teague can shoot way better than Schroeder, which is one of the main things the Jazz need from a PG.
Teague has dropped off a lot since last year. I watch almost all the Hawks games and Teague's play has been regressing. He is benched at the end of games, his shooting has been reall bad over the past couple months, and his decision making has not been great. Schroder, on the other had has been playing amazing, and is 5 years younger and would better fit with our long term needs.
Schroder shoots a lot better this year, and he gets to the hoop well. Oh, and he can pass. That is what we need from our PG. If we have a choice and take Teague over Schroder, it will be a mistake.
He's entertaining at times, but about as valuable as a 10 cent hack.
Who said favors is nothing more than a bench scrub? Jody?
iirc Jody was the one talking about trading favors for the #4 pick in last years draft (ended up being porzingas). A bench scrub would never get us the #4 pick.
I would definitely trade a scrub for the #4 pick.Simmons. U don't trade a scrub for the 4th pick

I think that the point is miss and Schroeder is NOT available this trades guys. Hawks can't be so stupid. They want get rid Teague only. Trade Jazz make some sense you know, but not for too much. They need move him for many reason beyond the doubt so overpay is not an option. Teague for Burks Straight up or Booker, Burke and a pick. This is all I can give them I can t approve anymore. Thanks listen my thought and have blessings today!
3 way trade proposal:
Atlanta gives Teague to Dallas
Utah gives Burks to Atlanta
Dallas gives Dwill to Utah

Andy Larsen: I heard you on Blog Talk Radio earlier today and you’re like the Jeff Teague expert. How does it feel?
Buddy Grizzard: [Laughs] Well, I have tremendously enjoyed watching Jeff Teague’s career unfold. A lot of people in the blog community felt like Larry Drew didn’t catch on to the fact that Jeff Teague was a really good player until long after we were aware of that. I just feel that it’s unfortunate that the Atlanta Hawks organization has kind of mismanaged its personnel. What happened is, when Jeff Teague came into restricted free agency, the Hawks chose to not negotiate with him, not offer him a contract but instead let him go and sign an offer sheet with the Bucks that they could then match and feel like they were the smartest guys in the room. Because, ha ha ha, we just got Jeff Teague for $8 million a season. What a bargain.
The problem is, Jeff Teague just put his condo on the market. Players don’t really appreciate being treated as assets. They prefer to be kind of be treated as people. So I feel like Danny Ferry could have done a much better job of handling Jeff Teague’s restricted free agency. We might not be in a situation where it’s either/or Jeff Teague or Dennis Schröder. And we wouldn’t be worried about the fact that the Hawks organization at this point is not at all certain that it can keep Al Horford after this season. Because Horford has spent so much of his career with Teague, the fact that Teague is very possibly leaving, that could factor into Horford’s decision to maybe go somewhere else as well.

The Hawks guy seem to be in favour of the Teague+Mack for Burks+Burke swap. He thinks Schroeder is their PG of the future and that Teague has been 'sandbagging' it the last few games and his heart isn't in the team anymore. (Although he did score 20pts, 5 assists in the IND game that Millsap left early due to ankle injury).

So we're going to trade a gifted player with a fantastic demeanor for a guy that has been sandbagging on a playoff team and only has 1 season left on his contract?
Ummmm **** dat
