What is wrong with Gobert's Confidence and Aggressiveness?

I go to all home games and I watch most road games.

  • Against Houston Rudy had 3 rebounds. For comparison, Trey Burke had 2 rebounds in about the same amount of playing time.
  • Against San Antonio, Rudy had 2 rebounds at the half.

The opponents are getting a lot of points in the paint that Rudy was impacting last year. He seems to be less confident.

I think we need to make an effort to get Rudy more involved offensively at the start of the game to get his mind right.

There were some TERRIBLE passes to Rudy last night. Gordon has to make passes that are reasonable to Rudy to be able to catch.

His slump only started a couple of games ago. He probably needs reduced minutes for a while.

we are definitely getting killed on the boards lately.

I blame Bolerjack and Harpring. They made a mockery out of the salute, so Rudy stopped doing it. They (particularly Boler) can't ****ing stop talking about confidence, and Rudy is having a couple of unconfident games. Fire^99!

He is recovering and the other teams have scouted him, and he is not that good on offense.

We should play Withey a little more to give Gobert some rest (if he is indeed still injured)...
Seriously.
Withey seems to play well every single time he touches the court. Very consistent.
I can't understand why he gets only dnp's

Teehee

Was mostly facetious, but seriously also worried that the league will inevitably render him mediocre with his lack of offense and the way most teams can play small

The thing that concerns me is after his injury his hasn't been able to slide with guards and cover as much group. That athletic ability made him special at his size. He needs to get his body right. Withey is good enough to hold down the fort.

For real I would rather let him get healthy than win one extra game and have this become a constant problem

Dislocated my knee cap 2 years ago and my knee still doesn't feel normal so I can only imagine how a dude his size playing pro sports feels....

Well he did not dislocate knee! I knpow you try and refernce yourself into this matter but it cant work. I hope you understand and are not mad at me ok?

He's pushing it. Mack came in and flew out of the gate. Rudy couldn't keep up and when he bogged down the offense and it's pace, he knew it. He's a competitor and we'll work his *** off this summer and in years to come. Be patient, but no, he's not ready for the Mack attack. Imo.

Per Locke Marc Gasol said it took a month to get right and it felt fine one game and was bad the next. Rudy is a fighter. He is never satisfied and will find a way to make an impact. We are far from seeing the last of his dominance.

There's several things going on here, but I think health is low on the list. Rudy gave us a clue the other night with his tweet about one day taking the fine and telling the truth about what's going on. Personally, I believe the league has decided to somewhat limit Rudy's impact on the game through the officials, and I think it drains his drive. The second thing I'll get into later when I have more time.
