George Martin can suck a dick.
I'm a big fan of The Middle. Only comedy show I watch. Great writing.I'm wholeheartedly remiss that I haven't mentioned one of my favorite TV shows. The Middle. It airs on ABC. Full disclosure, though, I do NOT watch it when it airs. It's one of those shows that my department works on, so I always make time to watch it during the workday. It's a multi-cam sitcom with, in my opinion, some of the best writing out there. It's been on the air since 2009 and it's still as fresh as ever. I have no problem admitting that I've had my fair share of emotional moments with the show over the years.
Admittedly, what jogged my memory was this recent New Yorker article I read today:

Bates Motel. Creepy as heck.
I tried getting into it but just really couldn't... Does it get better after episodes 3-4?
It does. Season two was...rough. We netflixed it or probably wouldn't have made it. Season 3 was good, and 4 has started off fantastically.
I was seriously creeped out watching the last episode. Chills.

These Netflix/Marvel shows are awesome AF. Jessica Jones was great and Daredevil season 2, after a very good first season, started with a bang.
I thought Daredevil sucked. The first season's villain was awful IMO and I didn't like most of the characters.
Hmm, I really liked the bad guy in the first season. Although the bad guy in Jessica Jones is waaaay better imo, he was very scary at points and you could see why he became what he is and made me laugh a few times. I have not watched season 2 of Daredevil yet. I have not heard any bad reviews of the Daredevil from someone who watched it all the way through until now.

What's your take on Mad Men?I watched the first 10 minutes and couldn't continue. I'll probably give it a second chance at some point, but, like most tv shows, it was underwhelming cinematically.
What's your take on Mad Men?
I started it around the same time as Breaking Bad, and liked BB waaaaayyyy more, so I never got very far into MM as a result. But I did like it and will start it up again at some point in the near future.
I think it was 2011. But yeah, a while ago...Oh ok that's a long time ago.. 8 years ago?
I suspect as you get older you'd probably enjoy Mad Men a bit more...
Mad Men VS Breaking Bad is an interesting convo to have. While Breaking Bad is more or less about 1 thing, i.e., the transformation of Walter White, Mad Men tries to be a show about 'everything'. It doesn't always pull it off, but when it does it's pretty damn good.
