I'm wholeheartedly remiss that I haven't mentioned one of my favorite TV shows. The Middle. It airs on ABC. Full disclosure, though, I do NOT watch it when it airs. It's one of those shows that my department works on, so I always make time to watch it during the workday. It's a multi-cam sitcom with, in my opinion, some of the best writing out there. It's been on the air since 2009 and it's still as fresh as ever. I have no problem admitting that I've had my fair share of emotional moments with the show over the years.
Admittedly, what jogged my memory was this recent New Yorker article I read today:

It does. Season two was...rough. We netflixed it or probably wouldn't have made it. Season 3 was good, and 4 has started off fantastically.
I was seriously creeped out watching the last episode. Chills.

Exactly how I felt. The lead actor blew.
Even my wife, who dislikes superhero shows/movies and doesnt like violent shows, really liked Jessica Jones. Daredevil was too violent for her and not enough other stuff. I really liked Daredevil though it is really good. I was nervous to watch it after the Daredevil movie awhile ago was so bad.
I thought Daredevil sucked. The first season's villain was awful IMO and I didn't like most of the characters.
Hmm, I really liked the bad guy in the first season. Although the bad guy in Jessica Jones is waaaay better imo, he was very scary at points and you could see why he became what he is and made me laugh a few times. I have not watched season 2 of Daredevil yet. I have not heard any bad reviews of the Daredevil from someone who watched it all the way through until now.
Sucked was probably overboard, but I didn't like it. It just didnt do a lot for me. Like 5/10.

I watched the first 10 minutes and couldn't continue. I'll probably give it a second chance at some point, but like most tv shows, it was underwhelming cinematically.

I started it around the same time as Breaking Bad, and liked BB waaaaayyyy more, so I never got very far into MM as a result. But I did like it and will start it up again at some point in the near future.

I suspect as you get older you'd probably enjoy Mad Men a bit more...
Mad Men VS Breaking Bad is an interesting convo to have. While Breaking Bad is more or less about 1 thing, i.e., the transformation of Walter White, Mad Men tries to be a show about 'everything'. It doesn't always pull it off, but when it does it's pretty damn good.

Breaking bad got me hooked one episode in and never lost me once. I loved the show the entire way through. I tried watching the first episode of Mad Men and it was boring so I quit watching. Everyone talked about how great it is so I gave it another chance and I watched through most of the first season and nothing made me want to keep watching so I didn't.
