So you wouldn't trade favors for steph curry? Kinda dumb not to imo.
Yeah because I said that. Let's please operate in the realm of reality.

You got after stoked for saying he is open to trade favors without even knowing what he would trade favors for. Why?Yeah because I said that. Let's please operate in the realm of reality.

Because you don't just trade a 24 year old with his potential (and current level of play) on his contract. If someone can show me some realistic trade involving Favors that isn't a lateral move and brings us back a super-star on a long-term contract, then sure, trade him.
That isn't happening. Any trade involving Favors that we could realistically be pulled off would most likely either be:
1. A lateral move not worth making
2. A rebuilding move involving future picks and rookie contracts
3. A move to get a perceived better player who is in the final year on his contract
If we somehow get the opportunity to draft Ben Simmons I am much more open to the possibilities of trading the pick to build around the Favors/Gobert/Hayward trio than trading away one of the best 2-way player in the league.

If Trey Lyles makes us better or as good as Favors did then trading Favors for talent at another position would help us move forward. I would like to see Favors play with a real point guard and I'd love to see him get a call every now and again.
I would not trade Favors for a pick and other filler stuff... it'd have to be a knock your socks off type of offer at this time. If we can extend him and go into next season and Lyles is deserving of more time then it would make sense to more actively pursue a deal to balance the roster.
No. They let him walk to make the GS trade and to tank for a better pick. Still unclear whether Hood + next year's GS pick + the difference between Dante and a mid 1st is better than Millsap, although that's probably not the popular opinion here; Jazzfanz posters still generally grossly underrate Millsap. You can easily get enough time for 3 big men. Just because Lyles becomes good doesnt make Favors a must trade player. Wasnt that the same backwards *** thinking that informed us to let Millsap walk?

The Jazz are still in need of talent. Jettisoning talent primarily to make space for another player would be a mistake. If you can make a deal that improves the roster, great. No need to force a deal.
Debatable. I'm on the fence about whether the Jazz would be better off with Millsap and whatever player they would have drafted in place of Dante instead of Hood, Exum and next year's GS pick (and a couple second rounders).letting Millsap walk in free agency was a giant *** blunder.
I'm not seeing this.
Not sure how you expect a 6'10 265 lb mammoth to run.
Favors' feet and back are a real concern, whether he runs like a gazelle or Lurch.I don't care how he runs as long as it doesn't look like Kanter's gait.
