2016 NBA Playoff Thread

Durant took 18 shots and Westbrook took 31.

How could he not be sick of this?

He passes him the ball even though he is isolated vs way smaller defenders. It's a Durant problem, not a Westbrook problem.

It's probably a mix of both. But I'm sure the majority of Westbrook's shots are not a result of Durant isos.

I think a lot of them are just from Durant's passiveness at times. Even on one of the last plays of the game where they needed a quick 3 or shot, Durant gets the ball to where he could shoot and he passes it to Westbrook.

I'll have to pay closer attention. Game 4 will (hopefully) be the first game of this series I'll be able to watch all of.

Anyone else feeling a little left behind in these playoffs? The bottom tier playoff teams all made us look silly. Like Dallas or the Clippers B team. Yet, they've all been embarrassed in the playoffs. I watch Cleveland, SA, and GS and they look light years ahead of the other playoff teams.

Just how far behind are we? Sheesh. The way OKC, SA, GS, and Cle look right now, could we even keep it within 30?

We f****** lost to the lakers! we have so much work to do
I think a healthy jazz team is way behind the cavs, thunder, warriors and spurs. So is everybody else in the nba.
But I think a healthy jazz team is ahead of many, even most, of the other playoff teams.

We, and everyone else, won't catch those top teams until we have a star player near the caliber of those top teams stars but I do think the jazz could get to the second round as early as next year if they stay relatively healthy. That's pretty awesome imo.

Wow, good job on Dame. That dude can play some ball.

And to whoever is blaming Durant for Westbrook's ridiculous shots don't watch OKC games lol, he's been doing this for years and it's not new.

And yes I agree, the whole 1 on 5 thing is getting out of hand. Especially since Kawhi is arguably on their level if not better at this point and he's usually one of the 5 heh.

Also Roberson was talking some **** about Kawhi so that may have fueled the fire. Can't wait for Game 5 today.

I know the NBA probably would love for this series to go 7. Not me. I can't stand watching OKC. I want to watch the Spurs and Warriors play. Two teams that play well together, play tough defense, and have a system that showcases the best of their talent.

OKC merely has 2 stars relying on individual talent while the rest of the team stands around and watches. It's painful to watch OKC on offense.

Go Spurs Go!

Best down OKC in 5.

In his postgame interview, Westbrook seemed surprisingly aware of how badly he hurt his team in Game 3. Talked a lot about how he took too many shots and needed to get others more involved. Also commented how his not getting back on defense after missed layups put his teammates in a bad spot.

I'd never seen Westbrook apologize for any of that before - and I'm interested to see if he changes the way he plays in Game 4.

The longer this series lasts, the more time Curry has to recover, which will make the WCF a better series to watch.

Cleveland is shooting 47% from 3 this playoffs. That is insane. San Antonio is shooting 46%.
Weren't the Cavs averaging 20 made 3s per game in the series coming into game 4? Just ridiculous.
