Never Trump

Seriously? If he was thin skinned wouldn't he be hiding in the shadows playing puppeteer like most of the other billionaires?

I don't think so. He has an insane desire to prove to people that he is special and when he feels that they question his special-ness he goes on instant attack without as much as a cursory look inward. Thick-skinned billionaires don't seek out attention. What's scary is that Putin exhibits the same psychological traits as Trump.

he's thin-skinned. Go look at his face at every WHCD he's ever been to when ppl rip on him. He's a bish.
I agree that he's a bish but if he was thin skinned he would have walked away from this thing long ago. He's definitely not one of the most thin skinned people in history. If that was an accurate description of him there's no way he'd have stayed in this race.

The one thing he has in more abundance than thin skin is hubris, so in addition to being one of the most thin-skinned people in history he has among the most hubris of anyone in history. He's a ****ing train wreck. As evidence of his thin skin, he attacked Rosie O'Donnell again yesterday. Baiting him is easier than getting Obama to sing.

O'Donnell said she would leave the country if he became president. When he became the presumptive nominee people asked her if her bags were packed and she said she didn't need to because he would never become president. Trump said that if she did leave that would be a great thing for America. This is your evidence that he has thin skin? I just don't see it the same way at all.

I think it's evidence that he's a media whore who will stop at nothing to keep the spotlight on himself. I see his bizarre faces during the debates and the vast majority of his tweets the same way. Every time the spotlight turns away from him he will do or say something that will cause it to swing right back. I agree with you that he is incredibly arrogant, and I would add that he's a complete narcissist. He could tell you one lie in the morning and a completely opposite lie that evening, and he'd believe both. Not only that, but if you called him on it he'd attack as if you had eaten his firstborn.

Trump and Rosie must have gotten it on. They were plowed. They hate themselves and each other for it and they don't want anyone to know. Both are afraid the other will spill the beans so they desperately want to frame the other as a liar. Must have happened, must have.

Here's his quote after Hillary's camp brought up his past statements about Rosie:

"And then they’re critical because I speak about Rosie O’Donnell. Who the hell wouldn’t speak badly about Rosie O'Donnell? She's terrible. She's terrible," Trump said Saturday.

"How can you say good [things] about Rosie O'Donnell? She’s a disaster."

I agree with everything you said. In addition he can't let anything slide; and because of that he is thin-skinned. Why bring up a past word-war with Rosie ****ing O'Donnell?

This is what the right has been saying for a long time, but the left has remained oblivious. I wonder if the tide is finally turning. If Hillary's last name wasn't Clinton she would have been tossed from this race long ago. If you watch nothing else, watch the last 30 seconds.

Hillary is bad news, but not even close to the threat that Trump poses to our country through his vindictive, vitriolic outbursts. He is a HUGE national security threat.

I like what a buddy of mine wrote about him today:

"The petulant little child is already trying to run this country by firing anyone that doesn't agree with him as if everyone is simply in his employ, yet you dumb ***** keep voting for this megalomaniacal tyrant. The **** is wrong with you?"

LOL - Trump now says he's going to tax the rich and supports raising the minimum wage,

Can the two political parties trade candidates? Sounds like each one has the wrong letter after their names.

Just goes to show you that none of it is about us and bettering our future. It's all the same.

I'll give an exception to old man muppet as I think he genuinely cares.

The most disastrous thing I think he has said yet is that the US wouldn't pay our debts in full. Welcome to Greece.

(but worse, nobody is going to bail us out)

Well, he said he would re-negotiate US debt with our creditors.

Of course how, and for that matter why, he would do this is beyond me. This isn't Atlantic City where you can sue your creditors or just walk away from debt by declaring bankruptcy.

The US issues bonds at ridiculously low interest rates - and they always find buyers because we're the safest bet in the world. Why Donald Trump and the republican right (through past "debt ceiling negotiations) wants to mess with this is a mystery to me.

Old man Muppet lololololol. That's awesome

How about both parties just start over? It seems impossible that they could both make such bad choices twice.

I am firmly in the #nevertrump camp.

But here are a couple things to consider:

1. If you live in Utah and don't think there is a chance that Trump loses to hilary in Utah, you are not paying attention. There are a ton of minorities in Utah, and believe it or not, roughly half of the voters are women. Never say never.

2. We have all been consistently wrong about Trump not being able to win anything. We need to get our heads out of our bums and actually call him out on the things that really matter. We are better than this as a country. Personally, if I have friends that support trump, I try to engage them in a respectful conversation about the downfalls of racism, sexism, and nationalism. We can no longer dismiss the trump supporters as 'idiots' and dummies. These people are likely just somewhat less involved in the process so far, or they may have other issues that trump might be good on (trade, deals, spray tan) that cause them to be able to set aside the things like sexism that they disagree with .

It is very important that we take this threat seriously, because he has potential to be the very worst president that we have ever had. We can't afford this huge problem, and neither can the global economy.

That being said, I think Hillary wins in a landslide, provided she does not get indicted. If she gets indicted, it would be extremely wise of her to drop out of the race immediately so as not to risk a trump presidency.

He's been particularly great if you love debt. And just wait until the interest rates go up. It's gunna be a real party.

Here's a little context: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...hind-obama-and-the-national-debt-in-7-charts/

The most relevant measure of public debt is not absolute debt, but debt as a percentage of national income (GDP), which has actually grown at a slower rate under Obama than either W. or Reagan.

Note that Reagan and Obama both had to deal with a severe recession at the beginning of their presidency, and in Obama's case, there was TARP and other fiscal stimulus spending. I'd bet that, if you had to choose between the growth of debt under Obama due to TARP and fiscal stimulus, with the likely counterfactual (e.g., crash of financial system and even more prolonged and serious recession), you'd choose the former.

Context matters here as everyone else . . . unless all one is interested in is knee jerk criticism.
