I saw a lot of talk about how okc matches up with Cleveland and whatnot. Lots of people were writing the warriors off.
I have felt since before the playoffs even started that there was a clear top tier of teams. Warriors, spurs, thunder, cavs. Many people thought the warriors and spurs were in their own tier. I didn't. You can't count any of those teams out in a series until it's over. Especially the warriors. They have been breaking records all year and doing things no one else has ever done. (73 wins. Only unanimous mvp ever. Only player to average over 30 points and under 35 minutes. iirc curry broke a shooting efficiency record. I think, but am not sure, that they set a point differential record too.)
They are defending champs. They have the mvp.
Having said that, if I had to bet money on which team wins the series I probably take okc to win this next home game. Best home crowd in the league and one of the best I ever saw.
I have liked the strategy of the thunder to let curry into the paint but try to stop him from getting any kind of look from three.
Durant seems to be the best offensive player in the league to me. Please come to utah next year lolyaright.
Westbrook has improved his all around game a lot I think and picks his spots a little better than in the past but I still feel that he should shoot less and durant should shoot even more.
