You know I actually really like Baldwin?
Stephen or Alec?

True, but a) Hayward is a better overall player than Favors, and b) Lyles is going to start taking minutes from Favors this season, whereas Hayward doesn't have anyone challenging him for minutes at the SF.
A line-up with Exum/Murray/Hayward/Lyles/Gobert with Hood and Davis/Maker coming off the bench is a good, balanced line-up.
This.Taking Ullis at 12 would be such a ridic reach.
Clearly you do with this response.Just ignore my posts. I do yours.
I like you catch, but my God. Draft fever is inevitable, I understand, for many fans. Maybe you should lie down.
Is Kyle Wiltjer gonna go undrafted??
I didn't see him listed on either round of the DX mock.
After you said Favors was just average, I can't take you seriously. Sorry mate.
Probably. Maybe a team will take a 2nd round flier, but this draft is super deep in role players. Kyle is super talented offensively, but he can't play a lick of defense. Should be a good Euro player.
Ryan Anderson doesn't play defense either. If Wiltjer = Anderson then color me eager to use a second round pick on him.
The more I look into Thon Maker, the more he looks like a viable pick. He'll be a plus defender for sure and his offense is a bit further along than I thought. If he hits 75% of his free-throws, I think you can bet on his offense continuing to develop.
The guy was the #1 or #2 recruit in his high school class, a strong class at that, for multiple seasons. There's probably some recency bias against him, since he wasn't expected to be in this draft class and he didn't show out in the Nike Hoop Summit, which is basically a loosely coached exhibition game. People want him to be KG or Anthony Davis, but that artificially high expectation is leading to him being underrated, imo. I think you have to consider him starting at 8 or 9 in this draft. He's not the safe pick, but he's probably a good pick.

I totally hear you, but lets not forget the lessons of Johnathan Bender and Stromile Swift.
1) He's not that good offensively.
2) Anderson can at least attempt to play defense. Wiltjer would be worse than Kanter.
This guy brings up a good point though. They aren't close at all. Anderson was also a pretty good rebounder for a few years... Not sure if it's still the case.
He tested much better than people thought he would at the combine. Gives some hope he can play a small amount of defense. If Novak can play in the NBA for many years he has a chance.
