Following 2016 potential draftees

If every draft just produced role players and not all-stars would you be happy with the state of the NBA?
Nope. That's exactly my point. I think a draft without stars (like he said this one is) is a weak draft.

Weak with star power but not with role players. Every team needs role players. Looking back 10 years from now they will say it was a SOLID CLASS. It is the 96 or 84 class by no means. Those to me are great classes. So how often do those even really come around?

Every weak draft.

So has there ever been a weak draft in nba history then?
Can you find a draft that didn't produce role players?

Dejounte Murray is definitely the most Burks like player in this draft.

Definitely not as explosive as Burks, but seems to have a better feel for making plays for others.

Was this already discussed?

I thought he would try Memphis for the fit.

Agree Memphis would be a good fit, but he wants to go before that. Memphis is not til 17. Ford's new big board has him 10th. He has impressed with his shooting and athleticism. Both of which I have remarked on. :D

In case you want to sit through an hour-long Sabonis workout in Phoenix. Apparently Sabonis is planning to work out for the Jazz among a small handful of teams.

If the latest draft chatter is accurate, there's a very real possibility that Poeltl is available at 12. Teams are liking Skal, Richardson and Dejounte Murray in the late lottery. It's also sounding as tough Murray might be considered the #2 PG prospect (after Dunn and ahead of Baldwin) for certain teams.

The same account seems to have a workout with Thon Maker in it:

Here's the list of players there:

I just watched a bit, Maker's shot doesn't seem to fall at all in the early part of the workout. He made about 4-5 out about 20 from the baseline and the elbows. Not very encouraging.

Kept watching... much better later in the work out. 8/12 from corner 3 adn 6/12 from right angle 3 in the first series he had.
