I dont think you are considered an all-star when you just compete in the 3 pt contest.

All joking aside i think he has the potential to an all-star. If i had a comparison for him coming out of college would be a little less athletic Ray Allen.

Yes it would cost them more than just the third pick for Hayward... Hayward and favors are really underrated and both guys are two way players. He ain't leaving for nothing guys. We can offer the five year megamax and keep him around. Everything out of him lately is pretty positive.

Murray is not an elite athlete for sure, but he is definitely adequate.. Nothing to worry about in the least.
 
I am starting to like sabonis at #12. One of the knocks is he is not a pf or a center but as a back up to gobert i would be ok with that. His athleticism worries me but he seems to be a hard worker and that might get a little better.

He has some of the intangibles that i like in prospects

- good motor
- hard worker
- gives 100%
- vocal leader
- plays with passion

One of the greatest intangible that a player can have is pedigree.
 
I'm not in on Sabonis at 12. At all.
I'd rather have Purtle. And I don't want him either.
Is it okay to want more?
 
As far as boston is concerned they have some draft assets that could sweeten a hayward trade.

What might be interesting would be sat hayward and mack for #3 and marcus smart and or rj hunter.

Exum, smart, neto

Barnes, bazemore, ingles
Favors, lyles
Gobert, sabonis, whithey

Or instead of bazemore buy a late first and get say valentine or luwawu or even beasley.

In terms of athleticism, both Lillard and Murry have the same standing reach and the same max vertical. Murray is a bit taller, and Lillard has a slightly longer wingspan. The difference is that Murray is coming out as a freshman. Murray's 3-pt percentage as a freshman in the ACC is the same as Lillard's as a senior in the Big Sky or whatever po-dunk conference. If anything, Murray looks like the safer prospect coming into the draft. Lillard doesn't play defense either.

If you watch both of them, and think they have similar athleticism, then you don't know how to watch basketball.

He has a lot of intangibles, but you'd have to be pretty confident in his jump shot. He is not going to be able to bully players in the post in the NBA.

We NEED to move Hayward to become, eventually, competitive.
Probably add Favors to that as well.

Mostly Hayward, though.

Let's not create this little clique club, let's compete.
