Following 2016 potential draftees

Don't know if it is true, all the teams like misdirection, but yesterday on the big show Chris Mannix said many teams were trying to move out of the first round and get rid of their picks. It is a buyers market.

Wouldn't surprise me at all.
There will obviously be a few good players, but it's a crap shoot this year... everyone looking to next year's stellar class.

If so we should be buying... this year's rookie class is on a dirt cheap rookie scale. In the next CBA it will surely be significantly higher. If you can land a decent rotation player at this year's prices it will be a huge deal in providing salary flexibility.

He is comin , he is comin' ;)

But his agents confirmed that he wanted to stay one more year in europe.

Seems to be a mini eurocamp in new york? :D Individual workouts will be done later...

Figured that agent would have a group workout like the other agencies. It will be very well represented by scouts and GMs. I am not sure why Korkmaz wants to stay in Europe for one more season. NBA of course now has a very developed D-League where he could work on his game and get good playing time. I guess depends on exactly who drafts him. Interesting to see if Utah gets a workout. Hopefully we can get Luwawu to workout as well.

Think he has a good sized buyout... not sure where I heard it though.

I'm liking Korkmaz more.

He's got good size and athletic ability, so he's not a lost cause on the defensive end. He can shoot it from deep (still think his shot is a bit weird though), he's hella young, and he can create (can't stress how important that is).

If we stay at 12 and no one unexpectedly falls to us, I'd take Dejounte, Malachi, or Furkan.

I'm not familiar with this Malachi. What is his game like?

He's shown the ability to create off the dribble and shoot it from deep. He's also very long and had good athletic numbers at the combine.

He has a high ceiling, but he could also just turn out to be an inefficient chucker.

My concern is that he had one good month. You take out December (I think that's when it was), and he was a 30% shooter from deep. I just don't see it. I'm sure I could make myself like it if we did take him though. I would prefer Furk, and I don't need to mention who I really want.

Welcome to the club.

He's the second youngest player in the draft (behind Ingram) and he's playing against grown adults.

I think he just might be able to improve. Probably not but just maybe.

I was referring to Richardson.

Although I do think Furk doesn't create that great (he's a straight line driver), he does have a lot of potential. Biggest thing for me is his frame and his defense, and hopefully with his age those aren't huge issues.

I really think in Turkey they do not believe in lifting weights until they are sure the player has stopped growing. Seems like most Turkish players 18 and younger are very skinny.

I know you didn't need to mention it but you want baldwin right?

Zhou Qi is listed as a 20 year old born in 1996. But a number of NBA scouts believe he was born in 1992 or 1993. Big difference to teams.
