2016 Annual JazzFanz All-Time NBA Draft

Might want to save a little bit of time in between rounds for people to do write ups for their next matchups. Or maybe have them write one up when it becomes clear who the winner will be. I won't need it. Going to keep my writeups pretty simple.

Good idea.

Me too.

Cunning I am afraid you posting yours is not the best way. Imagine White starting a thread and he only has one team to show to voters and it takes some time until you arrive to post. That would be awkward and take the fun away from voters. Imagine if a team showed up to the first round of the playoffs 30 minutes late. There would be a lot of turnovers and easy layups. Because you know, you are not there.

Billups-Penny
Iggy-Harden
Bird-Battier
Dirk-Rasheed
Ewing-Draymond

I love my team. The best overall three point shooting including nine guys who can hit the three. Elite free throw shooting which is huge in close games with Billups, Bird, and Dirk amongst others. Three all-time clutch players with Bird, Billups and Dirk. Four Finals MVP's in Dirk, Bird, Billups and Iggy and a damn close fifth if things had gone their way in game seven this year in Draymond. Tough *** won't back down dudes who are also smart and know the game and have high iqs in Billups, Bird, Iggy, Battier, Dirk, Rasheed, Ewing and Draymond. Phenomenal chemistry. I think my guys would gel phenomenally. An elite get to the rim guy in Harden. Top flight defense with Ewing, Draymond, Rasheed, Iggy, Battier, Billups and Bird. Elite passing. All my big men are really really good passers. And an ability to go big or super big even with Penny at the 1 or small with Draymond at the 5. In short, my team to me is the best overall balance of elite winning, toughness, defense, clutch play, versatility, shooting, scoring and chemistry.

Let me dissect your team:

They suck ***.

Rep to anyone who PMs me explaining how to embed an image into a PM. I'm getting choice for URL but won't let me pull a picture from my hard drive. Yeah, I'm bits-bytes challenged, I know. Thanks.

Three of your guys don't shoot the three. Everyone but Ewing does on my team.

First. Just because they shot a ton of three's doesn't mean they should. Second, not one of your guys averaged 40% or higher. I have three guys on my squad that shot 40% or higher for their careers and Stockton would be the fourth if he hadn't have been so bad the first 4 or 5 years of his career where he shot 20% and lower. Hell Drazen shot a rediculous 43% for his career all be it a shortened career, but he was as deadly as they come. Reggie Miller called him the greatest long distance shooter of all time. Think of it as my team having two pairs of splash bro's.

And other than Ray Allen, not one of those other guys did jack **** when it mattered.

If u mean titles. That means jack **** to me. Switch Stockton and Billups, and Stockton wins one, never mind the fact that he made two consecutive finals and lost to the guy that kept everyone from winning it all. Put Drazen on the Warriors instead of Iggi and he gets a title, never mind his career was cut short on account of him dying. Nance makes a finals if not for MJ hitting a shot over Ehlo. U can't judge everyone on the titles or lack of titles. For example. Bill Russell won 11 titles. Wilt won 1. Most will say Wilt was the better player, but Russell had the better team around him. Furthermore had the Jazz drafted Magic, they still don't win a title. Some of those 80's Jazz hadn't had nearly the talent as those lakers and Celtics teams, and maybe having Magic keeps the Jazz from being able to draft Malone or Stockton. With or with out the titles, he's still not less or more of a player

BS. Ifs, ifs, ifs, ifs, ifs.

Stockton didn't have the killer instinct Chauncey had. Drazen didn't play for the Dubs so we'll never know. Price's Cavs lost to Jordan in the first round. But yeah, they would've won a title that year.

Holy **** you're an idiot!! Stockton is widely viewed as one of the more clutch performers in the game?? He made a career of stepping up for his team did u forget the "John Stockton sends the Utah Jazz to the NBA finals" or most of that fourth quarter as he almost single handedly won that game with a monster 4th quarter as they were down double digits. Had Billups Pistons gone against the 97 Bulls and MJ he'd have lost too. So, ya titles or not. Has no bearing on who was better. Would u rather have Bill Laimbeer with two titles or Ewing who had 0 titles? Case closed.
