As opposed to what? Grown men, and the occasional woman, spending hours and hours a week on a basketball forum during the offseason?

There is a guy here in my local town that is trying to organize things. Setting up local gym s(like chapters in a bike gang) with gym badges and everything.

I wont play at that level but to each their own.

I actually did try it. I just don't get it. Lots of other things I'd rather do, like spend time with wife and kid without staring at a phone.

Enough with the philosophical musings about the legitimacy of Pokego existence. What you guys got so far?

Vaporeon and Snorlax really look the strongest out of readily available pokemon. I'd include Arcanine but I haven't found one with good attacks. It seems slow to me.

Damn, Im level 6 and all my **** sucks. I just don't walk at all. I hate walking. I'm either riding my bike, at the gym playing basketball, or swimming. If I'm not doing those things Im usually on my ***.

I'm level 20. It's fun to see which pokemon seem to be available here. Water pokemon are hard to come by as far as I can tell. I have a brother in Nebraska and another in Kansas who are up to their ears in Magikarp. I've also heard that Doduos are all over the place in NYC.

I have a decent amount of water pokemon. Magiikarp/Goldeen/Krabby/Poliwag/Psyduck/Staryu/Slowpoke.

My brother in Memphis gets a lot of water as well as grass and bug. Pinsir, Beedrill, Scyther...

I have all of those too, but most of them came from eggs. I'm very far from evolving any of them.

In Utah, I've been able to evolve a lot of ground/rock/fire/normal/flying pokemon many times over. My apartment area spawns a ton of magnemites, mankeys, and meowths in addition to the typical pidgey/spearow/ratatta combo. Ponytas and geodudes are common just a neighborhood over. Ive managed to get two Arcanine because the area around my work has growlithe.

This. I don't spend enough time playing to have killer stats.

I do have an arcanine.. and an abra!
