The Pharisees. The "religious" folk that were holier than thou and looked down their noses at anything different than them ... and plotted to end Jesus because they didn't approve of His ways.

In other words, insufferable religious egomaniacs that push people from the love of Christ while telling you how they KNOW Him and how unworthy you are (duh)... when Jesus just wants you.. not your judgmental/holier persona.

Fish.. if there were one person on this site that I hope would someday open their heart to God it's you. I mean that.
Please don't shut the door. It's not church. it's just love and acknowledgment where it comes from. I'm thinking of your baby, mostly. Take it or leave it but leave it open for those you father.

Sorry so direct.. not like me.

I did pray the other day for the first time in years and years.
And I have tried a bit of meditation after reading that one thread.

So there's that at least.

Oh, and my baby is going to be blessed.

(I'm still agnostic as **** doe)

I love you bro.

And, yes, of course your baby is blessed. We don't need to worry why, but rather just be happy so.

A prominent religious sect of Judaism existing in the first century C.E. According to some scholars, the name literally means “Separated Ones; Separatists,” referring perhaps to avoidance of ceremonial uncleanness or to separation from Gentiles. Just when the Pharisees had their beginning is not precisely known. The writings of the Jewish historian Josephus indicate that in the time of John Hyrcanus I (latter half of the second century B.C.E.) the Pharisees already formed an influential body. Wrote Josephus: “And so great is their influence with the masses that even when they speak against a king or high priest, they immediately gain credence.”—Jewish Antiquities, XIII, 288 (x,*5).

Josephus also provides details concerning the beliefs of the Pharisees. He observes: “They believe that souls have power to survive death and that there are rewards and punishments under the earth for those who have led lives of virtue or vice: eternal imprisonment is the lot of evil souls, while the good souls receive an easy passage to a new life.” (Jewish Antiquities, XVIII, 14 [i,*3]) “Every soul, they maintain, is imperishable, but the soul of the good alone passes into another body, while the souls of the wicked suffer eternal punishment.” Regarding their ideas about fate or providence, Josephus reports: “[They] attribute everything to Fate and to God; they hold that to act rightly or otherwise rests, indeed, for the most part with men, but that in each action Fate co-operates.”—The Jewish War, II, 162, 163 (viii,*14).

Jesus declared that the scribes, like the Pharisees, had added many things, making the Law burdensome for the people to follow, loading the people down. Furthermore, as a class, they had no genuine love for the people nor did they desire to help them, being unwilling to use a finger to lighten the people’s burdens. They loved the plaudits of men and high-sounding titles. Their religion was a front, a ritual, and they were hypocrites. Jesus showed how difficult their attitude and practices had made it for them to come into God’s favor, saying to them: “Serpents, offspring of vipers, how are you to flee from the judgment of Gehenna?” (Mt 23:1-33) The scribes were heavily responsible, for they knew the Law. Yet they took away the key of knowledge. They were not content with refusing to acknowledge Jesus, of whom their copies of the Scriptures testified, but they added to their reprehensibility by fighting bitterly to keep anyone else from acknowledging him, yes, from listening to Jesus.—Lu 11:52; Mt 23:13; Joh 5:39; 1Th 2:14-16.

Tattoo Remover!

A simple method for removing an unwanted tattoo has been developed by Dr. F. W. Crittenden, Jr., a U.S. Navy dermatologist. He rubs the tattoo with salt. Using sterile gauze pads that are moistened and dipped in salt, he rubs the tattoo until the skin bleeds. The surface skin is thus removed, and the oozing fluids carry away the pigments in the tattoo. The wound is dressed and a scab forms over the wound. When the scab falls off, a picture of the tattoo can be seen in the scab.

Of course, with most NBA players and others who have covered there ENTIRE bodies with tattoo's....the scab would be humongous!

THAT, is without question, the most disgusting and disgraceful tattoo I have ever seen in my life! If I was a cop, and saw that tattoo visible on someones body, I would by hook or by crook, somehow pull them over, find an infraction of some sort....and have them incarcerated for as long as humanly possible or until it was removed, preferably by a broken beer bottle!

So you would ignore their rights, be a corrupt cop and become a corrupt judge all in one.

Talk about a long day.

Obviously, for someone to get a tattoo like that he had to either be drunk, on drugs, or both! If he was on drugs he's breaking the law, and if he was drunk and then driving, that's a DUI. I'm not violating his "rights" if I catch him doing either of those two things! If he comes to the court room with that tattoo visible and I was the judge, I'd be lenient with him.....just scrap that tattoo off your body with a rusty razor blade OR a broken beer bottle....and you can walk out the door scottfree!

Oh, so we want to move the goal posts. OK.

Glad to see you double down on being a corrupt judge. I'd enjoy watching you removed from the bench but alas...society is to wise to make you a judge.
