Utah Jazz sign second-round pick Joel Bolomboy

I like this signing. I think JB has the chance to be the next West Matthews for the Jazz. I know they don't play the same position but my gut tells me this kid can play in the NBA. I loved how he made adjustments during summer league.

Anyone who thinks this summer is a failure knows squat about basketball. The Jazz made the biggest change, which is improving our bench. Some experts are ranking it the number one bench in the league, which is a far cry from are lousy bench last year.

With the returning healthy guys and our improved bench I am predicting better days ahead. I would be disappointed with anything less than 50 wins and a legitimate shot at winning the division and a playoff series.

No Hill is not better then Teague. Teague has multiple all star games. How many does Hill have?? Yep you are righ thowever Hill is betetrthen Teague even though the NBA players and coaches will disagree with you. That's what is annoying. Thinking your average starter is better then a NBA all star, Who was voted on the ASG by the COACHES.

Hill and Teague are both average starting PGs. You can take one datapoint to paint one as vastly superior, but it makes you look foolishly simpleminded. But we are used to that.

Wouldnt even want Joe Johnson 7 years ago. Not sure how getting him now is somehow good. Especially considering he is a ball stopper and we have a coach that promotes moving the ball. Cant wait to watch 36 year old Joe Johnson drain the clock, iso, chuck, repeat.

Didnt even get the best point guard in the trade. Teague is better than Hill. Hill isnt that good, and he is just getting on the wrong side of 30. 1 year rental. Wasted a 12th pick.

Diaw, another dude past him prime. Not that good. Just a Spurs dude who played decent for them. Now they dont want him.

So lets see. Johnson, Diaw, and Hill, all olders players not wanted by their team. So we scoop them up just to say we did something. Ill be shocked if all 3 of those guys arent written off by mid season .

What we should be debating is not Hill is greater than Teague? It doesn't matter because Teague was never coming to Utah. Hill wants to be here and is a better defender and is underrated as a scorer. Teague scores more but his defense allows more too. The real determination of the success of this summer is in the comparison of our new players to the ones they will replace. Fortunately there is no real need to debate this issue. Hands down the new guys make the Jazz significantly better.

Since you haven't explained anything even remotely basketball related yet I never expected you too. But I can surmise you somehow think this series of moves makes us contenders which proves without doubt you know nothing about basketball so anything you would pay about it would be pure regurgitation of what you have read from the "experts" and would contain zero original thoughts so it makes no difference at all one way or the other.
