NFL 2016 Season Thread

I guess my definition of elite is just stricter. I don't call one pro bowl season in an 8 year career elite.

If he can string a few pro bowls in a row then I would.

This is a really stupid debate. I don't care how our definitions differ of "elite". The point is Bennett is good enough for the Patriots to use them in the two TE set offense. An offense they haven't ran since the Hernandez/Gronk days.

They traded for Bennett for a reason.

They traded a 4th rounder for an elite player, what a steal.

Calm down bro. All I did was quote what you said.

You just talked in a circle and asked me questions about stuff I told you wasnt the case.

Case in point:
I know what you said, here it is:

"Bennett is a good player, but he isn't elite. He is playing with Brady and Gronk so he looks better, but elite players at any position don't need HOF'ers to make them look good."

So what HOF'ers in Chicago made him a pro bowl TE that led the league in receptions?......Unless you're saying Cutler is a HOF QB?!........

For some reason you think I think Bennet was an elite TE his pro bowl year. I don't. I think he was a good TE who had a career year, something any good player is capable of doing. Elite players do these things year in and year out with little regard to team situation.

You seem to think a player becomes elite after having one good game, or having just one pro bowl season.

Are you this douchey in real life? I'm just curious.

Wait what did Fish do wrong? I think he is fine with people having conflicting opinions.

Who would have thought people would have been so pissed off because I thought Bennett/Gronk will make a great combo.
