2011 draft.....

Final got the ESPN draft lotto to give the Jazz the first 2 picks.

Not sure how to screen save, though.

Then save it wherever and then upload it to a place like photbucket or wherever and then post the URL here.... that is if you cared to do all that.

I'll vomit if we take Jimmer over Kemba Walker.

Jimmer will be a better pro than Kemba Walker, so why wouldn't the Jazz take Jimmer?

Magic Johnson, Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose all say Jimmer is the real deal and have high praise for him. In fact, Durant and Rose both played against Jimmer last summer, so I think they know what they're talking about.

Well if Jimmer keeps playing like he did today then he will not be available at 12-14 with the Jazz pick.

You're right. If the Jazz want Jimmer, they'll have to take him at #6 and then take someone like Kawhi Leonard, Nikola Mirotic or Justin Harper at #14. All combo forwards who would probably play SF on the Jazz.

In addition to them, David West was interviewed by Jim Rome today, and he said Jimmer would be able to take his game to the NBA and would do well. Anybody that can shoot, and score like that has a place there. (paraphrase)
It seems the players think there is a spot for him

On a side note I saw a ESPN clip with Bobby Knight showing people how to defend good scorers. When talking about the guards he explained that you take away what they like to do, or are good at. If a perimiter player you force them the other way (the way they don't usually go), and have help teammates come at him whether they are going to double or are faking. I have seen this and more done to Jimmer and he still scores. I think this is because he will back up and shoot, he will drive left, he will drive right, and he will split a double if they bring it. I think Bobby Knight needs to come up with a video of how to stop The Jimmer because you can't take away everything and still have enough guys to guard the other players.

Nice argument, guys. Think about it. These players are directly being asked about how well Jimmer will do, what do you think they're going to say? They're going to compliment him no matter what. Why wouldn't they?

And why are they being asked about Jimmer? Because he's doing well in college basketball.

So the question of whether Jimmer will convert to the NBA well has nothing to do with what these players say.

True. Michael Jordan's proven to be such a great assessor of talent.

I still think Barnes would be the BPA after Irving. No way Perry Jones gets more than 10 minutes of playing time a game if we have Al, Favors and Millsap.

Oh, I agree. I think the Jazz would go Irving, then Barnes, or maybe Williams if he appears to be better in workouts.

I wouldn't be surprised to see perry jones play SF in the league. I would rather take Barnes or Dwill2 there but I think Jones would be a great pick at 6

I did the lottery game (played 10 times)and 1 time we got the 3rd pick, 3 times we got the 2nd pick and the other time we got the 1st pick. I'll take a 50% chance come lottery day to get a top 3 pick:D:D:D

This would be one of the greatest things in Jazz history.

I'm trying to envision what would happen at the Draft Lottery if the Jazz (or the Cavs for that matter) get the top two picks. Usually they go to break before the top two are revealed and have the two teams' reps there to try to make the final reveal dramatic. What will they do? "Well, which one will get the first pick, your own pick, or the Nets' pick that they owe you?" Terribly dramatic, I tell you.

I have actually never watched the lottery selection. I guess I will have to this year. Is it in May?
