(17-10) Jazz @ (18-10) Grizzlies - Gamethread

This is the thing that I think prevents Hayward from making an all star game. He shuts down in the 4th. He doesn't take over like many "all stars" do. He needs to demand the ball and take over. Until then I question if we should be maxing him out.

Locke talked about our late game issues. Thinks it cuz we try to manage the clock and go one on one in the final minutes. Go away from our normal flow of offense.

So many offensive rebounds for Memphis...so many missed FTs for Utah. Just ugly!

It's a close game, and the Grizz only have one timeout left. Good odds for the J's.

If they Jazz shot their normal percentage and weren't giving up so many O Rebounds this thing would be a double digit lead. Christ.

Such a frustrating loss if they end up losing

I THINK UR WRONG. But I am open to your perspective.

because there are more fatcors tyhan just 76%.

if you miss a ft, the following ft has a different change of going in. same could be said for the 3rd one after missing the first 2. because your model lacks those stats and other real world factors your model is flawed.
like for example it being a road game. or for example. players have for example different ft% for back to back or 1 day rest or 3 days rest! or on the road ft's have different changes of going in

your statiscal value fails because it is a simplified version of very complex, real world complex thing.

EDIT: i dont blame u. I blame the educational indoctrination system. thought u that .24^3 is SCIENCE.
