It might be. Boris deserves a lot of blame too. Our offense is great when teams respect his shot but when he bricks that many shots early it let's the D key on exclusively Hayward/Hood.I like Hayward and Hood as much as you. But you can't actually believe this. If so next time either plays good I will say it's because of Exum and Mack.

He doesn't, which is why Hill is important. KD on Hayward is a tough guy to score on off the dribble if he we have to lean on him to create everything.I feel like Hayward doesn't have an off the dribble game that can blow by people. He's more the type to just muscle in, so defenders with length really screw him over. His handle isn't good enough to evade them either. I dunno.

No way. Hill 10000000000%. Need a 3rd shooter who can break down defense and make a play.Hopefully Jazz can make a run in the second half.
We are really missing Favors in this game. Getting some reliable points from him in the paint help so much. He can also suck people in. Hill would help as well but if I had to pick one player to play and be healthy it would be Favors this game.
Some times the talent gap is just too much. They have 2 superstars and 2 all stars along with a very competent bench. We have Shelvin Mack, Joe Ingles, Boris Diaw, Trey Lyles, Dante Exum all having to play heavy minutes against them.
Mack looked awful for 16 minutes and Dante only 7 minutes ...Snyder has shown no confidence in Exum

Hayward struggles when he is too much of the other teams focus. He needs good players around him. He needs Favors and Hill this game. That does not make him a bad player or a non all-star. He just isnt an elite player but we all know that. He is just a really good player.
Hayward has been averaging like 20 and Hood like 16 points a night with Exum or Mack at point. I don't know how much more Hill would really make that more. The problem is that neither of them are attacking the paint.Yeah but getting an open shot every once in a while is different than getting looks consistently.

Sorry, but this is objectively wrong.I think Hill would help but I think Favors would require more attention from GS than Hill. He would get doubled a lot. He would eat up the boards and help our defense take even more gambles.

You know what makes attacking paint possible? Spacing.Hayward has been averaging like 20 and Hood like 16 points a night with Exum or Mack at point. I don't know how much more Hill would really make that more. The problem is that neither of them are attacking the paint.
