Damn, was about to vote for Lazy but that cucumber sandwich is a big no no for me.

What were you thinking man?!?!

It'll probably give me a cardiovascular disease, but as a last meal I think I'll go with Spy's heart stopping delights.

I don't understand all the cuke sandwich hate. They are actually quite good. I first read about them in an Encyclopedia Brown book when I was about 8. Thought they sounded interesting and made one. I don't eat them often but every summer make a few along with tomato sandwiches. I do them differently than the proper British way but they are refreshing without bloating you the way many of the other sandwiched on here do.

Here are my sammiches. I got screwed. Cy left me out.

Vote against Cy for a vote for mine.

Apple sammich
Spaghetti sammich
Lasagna sammich
Bologna sammich
Pea sammich.

Wes obviously wins this just because the Reuben is the best sandwich ever invented. No contest.

According to the poll there seems to be a contest.

No accounting for your lack of taste. Well yours is from all those dick meat sandwiches you slurped. But no accounting for everyone else's lack of taste.

I see, maybe if I selected 5 variations of a chicken tender sandwich.

Hell, I had egg salad just a couple days ago with a cup of tomato soup. Lot's of Tabasco on the egg salad. I chose Fish for exactly this reason. All sandwiches that I have had and can make and thoroughly enjoy when I eat them. There are others listed that are good but the genius of picking the PB&J put me over the top. Nothing better than a PB&J, plain potato chips and a big glass of milk. Pure genius.

What does being able to make it yourself have any inpact on what is best or not?
I like boiled egg sandwiches but I sure as hell ain't ordering one at a restaurant. I ain't even buying one at a truck stop

Looking at all three polls I think spycam has a 3 pt lead over Siro right now.

Googling Lobster roll late in the pick won a lot of points an took the show. Good choice. I am guessing 99% of posters have never eaten one an are salivating on the prospect of a new choice.

Personally I would never order lobster in a bun. If you want sea food sandwich go with a fried clam buffalo with dill tartar sauce or deep fried oyster with remoulade sauce.

Honestly, I would not order egg salad at a restaurant either but the rules of the draft never said pick a sandwich that you would order at a restaurant. It just said draft a sandwich that you like. I like egg salad and the fact that I can make it and enjoy it without needing to go to a restaurant makes it that much more appealing.

i personally think salad sandwiches of all types (egg, chicken) are ****ing trash

old ppl are so corny with insults wtf even is this

Nah, they straight. Tuna melt is my favorite among the things covered in mayo category.

**** is so gross dude. Really not my thing. I like some messy sandwiches but I'm just not a huge fan of lots of mayo on my sandwiches.

interesting aside: Japanese people are obsessed with mayo, my old work fridge had like 4 bottles of mayo being used at all times.

also, not a lot of love for vietnamese subs here, had me surprised.

Weird, I only like a thin layer of mayo on my sandwiches. With things like tuna salad, chicken salad, and egg salad there is obviously a lot of mayo, but it doesnt really bother me.
