What's new

Following potential 2017 draftees...

Collins passes the eye test easily vs most matchups. Keep an eye on DS4's effort defensively sometimes its questionable
If i have a concern re: DS, it's his attitude in general. Not that it's a problem necessarily, I've just seen some reactions and body languague that give me pause at times. Plus he's still very young, so there's that.

Based on his season's production and one half of basketball that i've seen, I don't see why Collins isn't as good a prospect of many of the mid/late first PF prospects of the last few years. such as Poris, Lyles, NanceJr, Vonleh, Payne, McGary, Ellenson and Brice Johnson.

DS is so much fun to watch. so explosive, gets to the rim and finishes and his passing/playmaking is spectacular at times.

Didn't know Randolph Childress had a kid in college already. makes me feel old.

When I watch college basketball all I think about is how some retarded people claim to enjoy watching college basketball more and how that is the most ludicrous opinion I have ever heard.

I think he's got more upside than Brice Johnson.

Jarrett Allen and Graham went off in the 1st Texas v KU

you mean that some people claim to enjoy watching college basketball more than NBA? if that's what you're saying, i couldn't agree more. the gap in quality of play is ridiculous.

Yeah, poorly worded on my part. I mean, I mean, I like watching for prospects like everyone in this thread does, but it's so painful to watch the teams play, especially if anyone is playing zone defense.

Nba is the refined game. College and HS U16 U18 are varying degrees of raw below. Nothing is like the tournament nobody gets it right every year

I haven't seen Ball enough to know if he's entirely committed to defense, but i've seen him enough that i'm convinced that when he wants to defend he's exceptional and is a smart defender.

First time I watched college ball, I closed it thinking I got the wrong stream.

I like Kennard's shot-selection and the fact he plays well against ranked teams. Not sure how his defense will fare in the NBA, though.

Bruce Brown (Miami - Fr.) is getting the biggest bump up in the next mock. Fringe 1st grade. I'm sure he's a better shooter than he's shown so far, capable of a 40's 3pt%.

Dr. Jones The Fox injury isn't serious right? Just a rolled ankle? Also do you have any tidbits on Bamba's visit?? I so desperately want to see that NY Trio in Lexington.
