What's new

OOH, What a DAY!!!!!!!! WHAt A LOVELY DAY!!!!!(bump for turmp!, if you like hillary neg ME)

And the day after your beautiful day, in Washington, and in cities all over the world, we are absolutely swamping you. We are making your inauguration crowds look puny in comparison. Donald Trump speaks of "a movement"? Well, there's another movement developing, and it will swamp you....

Turn on your TV and watch. Or maybe you think the crowd estimates are "fake news"? Muhahaha....

So how come nobody showed up at the Clinton campaign stops?

I understand that since the election, the left is up in arms, actually alarmed at the existence of democracy. Too long used to having a delusional peace with the sense of having their own way, the former gloaters, and smug moralists of political correctness have lorded it over the unwashed rednecks, in their own minds.

This is true Panic. Uninformed, irrational panic.

Trump has already reached out to Wallstreet, the bankers, the CFR. And all this moronic despair is unfounded. Life will go on. People are still free. Nobody is going to be disenfranchised, particularly not the snowflake believers in the fake news. Oh, yes, there's a lot of protests, all hyped just a bit perhaps, but 50% of America has got to include the 10% loony left.

About a hundred thousand in LA, mostly taking mass transit. A good day for the metro trans. Nobody who has a job or wants one showed up.

see the fake news reporting attendence. they used photos from earlier but sure it is nowhere near obamas inauguration. but the media has been dishonest in the attendance!

for what?

compare that to the gigapixel while trump wa son stage. thats a whole lot more than this picture right.
stil nowhere near obama. but this just show u the picture they shown of tv from the crowd was from earlier before the ceremonie started.

I CANT BELIEVE THE MEDIA IS DISHONEST in this age of information they wont get away with it yet they TRY. and yet PEOPLE fall for it.

anybody who looks at these 2 links should see that cnn is extremely DISHONEST

and comparing trump vs womens march crowd sizes is irrelevant. the time to show your corwd size was in various electoral states.

and dont give me the popular vote ********.

becuase if popular vote is a thing we would get hunger games districting.
a few capitols being well off and then districts getting bent over to recieve a not so nice present from the capitol!!!!!!

other that a few districts in liberal capitols like new york, california and wahsington, trump won popular vote.

DO YOU WANT HUNGER GAMES? because with hunger games you get 3 capitols and ****ty conditions in rest of USA

3zx8Co5.jpg

cbs news ALSO DISHONEST!

wtf where is integrity of the press.

yues liberals i know u dont care about INTEGRITY of the press if they bash "hitler".

that makes it alright , right? if you clal someone hitler anything you do against this person is justified. so none of you liberals care about journalistic integrity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's funny that some people think that it's only the left who doesn't like trump

the media DISHONESTY is dividng the world even more.

people taking media word as fact. and people who go and research and find out it is manipulated data.

they cant find common ground because facts of 1 party is different facts from the other. thereby never agreeing and only growing the divide

**** the media and anyone who is supporting this honesty

Press Secretary Sean Spicer's first press conference was hilarious. Pretty certain Trump ordered him to read this statement. And it's full of BS! Such as saying, or rather yelling, that Trump's crowd was the largest in inauguration history. How absolutely silly, since photos prove that cannot possibly be a true statement. But I almost fell on the floor laughing at the way he said it. Just like a petulant child! He told folks to use the NY Times photos to judge, and if you do, it's easy to see Spicer was full of it. And the anger and belligerency! Hilarious that he would assume such a tone. This was nothing but Trump's way of setting it up for complete denial of press access. The media did not underestimate crowd size at all, as Spicer claimed. It is not the media promoting fake statistics. It is Trump and his spokesman Spicer. Further, when Trump spoke to the CIA for 15 minutes yesterday, he spent 9 of those 15 minutes talking about his crowd size. Lol, pathetic!

Worth watching the first press conference, though. No questions allowed, lol. And this was only the second day of this administration, lol...

Woops, here's the correct YouTube link...

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LPlagGOFGeY

Lol, as this commentator correctly pointed out, this was like Spicer's very own hostage video! Lol. He was ordered by Trump to go out there and read this statement. How childish and petulant. Exactly like his boss!!

BTW, feel free to check the metro ridership stats Spicer quoted. Check the actual facts. He either lied or was woefully uninformed. The entire purpose of the first press conference was to set it up for denying press access in the future. That was obvious when Spicer said the press would be held accountable, and Trump would just speak directly to the people. Well, of course! I predicted long ago that he would govern via Twitter. And now there is talk that Trump plans on getting rid of the press briefing room in the White House. Again, but of course. Authoritarians don't like the pesky press. Trump is no different in that respect.

So, when they talk about the lying media, it is they who lie. They only use that line because they are laying the groundwork for not permitting press access to the administration. Except that press that accept their lies and are in their pocket to begin with.

They don't fool me for one minute. His second day on the job, and the best Trump can do is spend time complaining about how his crowd size was deflated, and he did so in a talk to the CIA of all things! I'm sure that's just what they came to hear, lol. And then, he sends his Press Secretary out there, or maybe that's his Minister of Propaganda, to act like a 10 year old. I'm sure many of his followers will just lap up what Spicer claimed, but I'm not that stupid. That press conference was absolutely embarrassing, and I enjoyed it to the hilt. That's what we can expect. A Press Secretary every bit as childish as his boss...

yah, like nobody rides the metro but protesters. But wait, that's what I said. People with jobs have steady habits whether they ride the metro or not, and sure there's some variance day by day, but the huge LA "difference" or "increase" over that might have been mostly protestors and their kids and friends. Maybe 50,000, maybe not hundreds of thousands. Pics or it didn't happen.

Pretty sure Dutch's links showed what Dutch said, not what Red said.

Pretty sure there's Soro's cash going out to fund organizers and lots of little phone banks for this or that cause, all the paid schills showing up together.

Progressive agenda pushers all turn out together to bulk up the show. Conservatives generally divide themselves along little ideological lines into unnoticeable camps. They are not organized, and if there is a crowd like those that show for Trump it's genuine real numbers, as the election showed.

This show does not amount to a real public movement, but who knows, keep it up and most people will stop believing political left believes in democracy but mobocracy instead.

It is too bad such crowds did not turn out for Clinton. But she did not inspire such enthusiasm now, did she?

But, yesterday was not panic at all. It was, I most certainly hope, the true beginning of the Resistance. I hope it is a day that those of us who marched will long remember. In 75 countries around the world, and in cities around this nation. May we use the inspiration and spirit of yesterday to understand we are not alone. There are millions of us, and we will not sit quietly while an authoritarian cretan pretends he has a mandate. Trumps supporters could never have turned out such crowds. But we can. And may yesterday always remind us of that now demonstrated fact. Our beautiful women dwarfed Drumpf's inauguration crowd. I think it's quite silly to describe what happened yesterday around the world as "panic". We are not in a state of panic at all. We are all the millions of people that Trump dismissed. He still has not bothered to speak to the 65 million+ people who did not vote for him. Yesterday was a message that we are not going away. We are not in a panic. We, my friend, are strong, and we will come out again when called upon to do so.

Press Secretary Spicer's statement yesterday was not the only Trump Team display of childlike petulance. Trump himself also riffed his child like personality. In front of the wall of hero's at CIA headquarters. It still surprises me that he can behave in this manner, yet his supporters are still able to find some way to make excuses for him. But there is no excuse for his behavior. And there never will be:

You might be right in this, to the extent that there are people who believe essentially untrue things about "Trump". But it' not about "Trump", it's about a lot of people who have voted over the past eight years hoping to reverse what they don't like about what's happening with their country.

We are a deeply divided country. The division is artificially created by ideological extremists. If you can't see what those extremes are, realistically, and always believe the rhetoric of one side, you've lost the compassion that is the essential underlying virtue that qualifies our humanity as praiseworthy.

Trump, unlike Hillary, does have compassion for his opponents. A year ago, knowing he was good friends with Bill and Hillary Clinton, or assuming that their several visits and frequent phone calls, and Trumps donations in the past to the Clintons revealed some real human connection, I was saying that the Trump candidacy was a scheme to divide the Republicans like Ross Perot divided the Republicans in 1992. That Trump was Hillary's "Perot". But a few month later it was obvious Trump intended to actually win. That's what all his rhetoric was about, the "Crooked Ted" line (Ted Cruz if you don't follow the other side at all).

Whether he started out as a favor to the Clintons or not, expecting some favors in return, it seemed Trump really does play any game to "win".

I am not sure what Trumps "principles" are, if he has any, but I believe he has lots of human compassion and will treat people fairly, and respect their rights.

At any rate, I've given you enough static. People who believe in democracy will not join this crusade to demonize Trump.

Watching Chuck Dodd interviewing Kellyanne Conway, on Meet The Press, why Trump ordered Spicer, in his first press conference, to go out there and deliver a provable falsehood? Indeed, she's making a fool out of herself in reply. Saying Spicer offered "alternative facts"! Lol, how stupid they must think we all are. Really, how they can keep this nonsense up for 4 years is beyond me. In an angry, petulant manner, Spicer offered up a provable falsehood in the very first press conference of Trump's administration. Over something that's actual inconsequential, namely, the size of the inauguration crowd. What is nothing short of jaw dropping is telling us to use the NY Times photos, which demonstrate that Spicer's claim is a provable falsehood. Why even say that when the very photos you ask the press to check prove the Press Secretary is wrong. We are not blind. We are not stupid.

For the next 4 years, every time the press tells the truth, provides provable facts, Trump and his surrogates are just going to inhabit an alternate universe when responding to facts.

Anyway, Todd is not letting her off the hook, and she refuses to answer his question. The question being why did Trump order Spicer to go out there, on live TV, and do and say what he did and said. Attack the assembled press corps and basically scream at them for 5 minutes. And it was easy to see, can't prove it, but pretty easy to see that Trump must have actually dictated Spicer's entire ridiculous statement.

To all my Trump apologists friends. If you think Spicer was accurate yesterday, your heads are in the sand. I know I am not that stupid, and, quite honestly, I do not believe you are that stupid either. But you are Trump apologists. Meanwhile, the photos tell it all. Seeing is believing. Just look at the photos that Spicer himself said were accurate: the ones published by the NY Times.

That was one of the most bizarre press conferences I have ever seen. The minister of propaganda.

maybe, but the minister of propaganda of the trump administraitn clashed with the minsiter of propaganda of the Obama adminsitration.

look at this objectively. and then say it objectively!

it is sad the media is continuing its manipulative ways.
and then trumps adminsitration will exegrate their side of the story. and the divide GROWS.

this behaviour was totally accpetable during obama years suddenly it is 1984?

Oh every politician in the entire world spends plenty of their time and resources spreading propaganda. This was just a very blatant showing of propaganda and frankly insecurity. I'm waiting for him to stand up and say "you like me! You really like me!". Probably half of his speeches are talking about how popular he is. He must have an insanely tiny wiener.

But it looks yuge in his miniature hands.

Yeah. If that press conference is a sign of what's to come, the next four years are either going to be highly entertaining or horrifying.

Simply put, one of my biggest differences with you is that I believe you have a very naive opinion of Trump. I do not see the compassion you do. I would hope, that in his war against the media, and I started a separate thread over just that subject, that it would impact that point of view some. After all, anybody can see the crowds were larger in 2009, and anybody, at the same time, can see that Spicer's statement was "nuts". And now doublespeak, by use of the term "alternative facts". I would just hope you would begin to see what is going on here. If you do not think Trump should rule with accountability, I don't understand why....

Ohh what a day and weekend it was! It was standing room only in washington DC. Sadly for some it was the day AFTER the inauguration when the crowds showed up.

It was beautiful to watch the press secretary and Trump fans try to fight the embarrassment of the inauguration photo.

Then the day after millions around the world protest Trump. As I stated before Obama and liberalism are more popular around the world then
this current brand of right wing take us back 50 years conservatism we've been seeing.
