What if the Jazz take Jimmer in the draft? when new jersey comes to utah next season it will be dwill vs jimmer!!! Do I cheer for the Jazz or do i cheer for deron? so painful because I obviously have to cheer for the jazz but i love dwill so much more than jimmer. it is so painful. I miss Deron badly.

I wouldn't mind if Jazz ended up taking Jimmer... it'll just be like having Korver but with 1/4 of the cost!

Thanks for starting this real cool thread.

comparing jimmer to korver is too optimistic. jimmer is much shorter, and less effective and his defense isnt any better than korver and we dont know yet if he can make clutch shots, i m sure he doesnt

taking jimmer at 12 is a big waster imo while we could trade to move up 2-3 places to get brandon knight. Also im not even sure if milwauke, gsw, charlotte needs any guard while they have those young pgs. So knight may even fall down to 12 automatically

knight blew his opportunity to impress me against uconn.

..and you know this without ever watching Jimmer play 1 NBA game?

I think Jimmer would go between #12 - #19.. He's not as tall as Korver but he could play PG for us as a scoring guard in the 2nd unit (if we move Miles to a starting role permanently).

Having seen what he did for BYU - I think he would thrive in that position.

If Jimmer's on the board at 12 The Jazz are taking him.

Make peace with it because it's happening.

And five inches shorter.

The Jazz FO are going to take him with the NJ pick and will re-tell that story of how the crowd booed Stockton.

I've said it before and I'll say it again here, I wouldn't mind this starting line up:

C - Tomic
PF - Kanter
SF - Kirilenko
SG - Hayward
PG - Jimmer

Guarantee you, we'll sell out every game, win or lose. C'mon KOC - make it happen!

Can any of you imagine the rate of scoring anytime Jimmer is defending Rose, Rondo, or Westbrook? HOLY ****.

Most PG in the league can't guard the other great PG in the league. Nevertheless, Jimmer's defense is the worse I have ever seen. Can he improve? No one knows but it is the main reason why I wouldn't pick him. The other issue I have is his slot selection. Will he be able to adapt and not shoot as much? I know he can pass but there were many times where he just went too much one on one. I know it is because he was the man but can he change his mentality once he gets to the NBA. He also needs to work on his handle a little bit. He tends to dribble it loosely which may result in more turnovers in the NBA. There is no doubt in my mind the kid can score on the next level so if he learns to pass then I think he will be a solid backup point guard.
