I thought someone was gonna get a triple double and win it. KD got one but AD was too good. he ran away with it in the 4th quarter

I agree, I had to turn it off after a quarter. Not so much because of the lack of D but more because it's nothing but ego ball. It's an old boy's club of All Stars that do the chucking and occasionally share the ball with those in the clique. From a team standpoint it's worse than watching seventh grade tryouts IMO.
You'd be out of your frickin mind to play an outsider like Hayward winning the MVP.LOL Barely even got on the court and when he did, kinda looked like he was being froze out.
I don't know why people expect a competitive game. It's the top players being showcased in a fun goof off pick up style game. There is no reason to push themselves nor should there be. It's a break for all the NBA players and they need to get rested up to finish the grueling season.

Pick up games are much more exciting. I don't disagree with what you're saying, and I don't have any expectations. But I don't see why anyone would enjoy such a game. It's not even much of a showcase for the players.

Thanks. It had been six years since Kobe won it in LA so I thought the hometown guy was due.
I don't expect a competitive game. I get what it is, I just don't really enjoy it.

They still have a responsibility to the event imo. No one needs another NFL "allstar game".
There is a lot of history and prestige associated with representing your conference. There's no reason they can't have little 1 on 1 match ups over the court... Watching some old footage today of MJ v Kobe was everything an Allstar game should be.

No thanks. I like how it is now. I would not want Hayward or anyone from my team wearing themselves down for this game or risking injury. I like seeing the guys goof around and have fun. Throw down a few cool dunks and take some fun shots. I don't need to watch the old MJ Kobe games I remember them just fine. There were some good moments but those were also brief within the game and they mostly goofed off as well. Im glad the players are being smarter now and getting much needed rest instead of pushing themselves for no reason.

No, it's never really been competitive. Sometimes it gets a little competitive late but not really. Also injuries could happen anywhere that isn't a reason to limit them where you can. Besides injuries I think players need the rest and I don't think players need another competitive game that does not matter. I want my all star rested and helping my team win games that matter.
