And just to go back to this horrendously douchey post: Are you suggesting I have to provide a reference for every opinion I have? Are you a college professor grading my post for plagiarism? If I have a thought that isn't 100% unique do I have to credit whoever I borrowed from? Please do me a favor and **** off. Can't believe you are so obsessed with me that you care about the originality of my post. Disclaimer: Yes I read that article and I agreed with that part of the article and thought it was relevant to the discussion so I shared what I had taken away from it. Next time I'll make sure to cite it in MLA form and give you a picture of my spread ******* so you can pleasure yourself to it.

If he's truly available, then we probably don't have to worry about competing with BOS to get him..... since we can all agree that Lillard and IT could never share the court.
 
Gobert makes defense much easier for our wings and guards. He changes the scheme from keep them out of the paint to steer them toward Gobzilla. Rudy would make Lillard a better Defender because his defensive role would completely change.

Rather than have a big hedge till the wing/guard can recover they suck the player into a midrange pocket. Have you watched this Rudy Gobert fella play? Rumor Has It that he's one of the best if not the best defender in the league.

So right you go over the screen... Hill getting around a screen is night and day compared to Lillard. Having Gobert doesn't change the fact that Lillard still needs to get around a screen right? You don't want to switch Gobert. You pull the best defender in the league out of where he is effective.
 
I'm not worried about his defense AT ALL.

With Aldridge, Lillard won 51 and 54 games. He'd win 60+ with Hayward and Gobert.

In 2014, Tony Parker thrashed Lillard in their series. I think he had 2 30+ point performances, some of the highest outputs of his season. And only played about 30 minutes a night. The had to switch Wes and Batum on Parker. Completely changed the series. Spurs won 4-1. I think Lillard is WORSE now than he was in that series.

This sounds like I hate Lillard. I like Lillard. I just think his defensive inability shouldn't be ignored, especially if you're giving up your team for him.
