What's new

Los Angeles Clippers (40-26) @ Utah Jazz (41-25) - 6 PM

Seems like that happens so often to us, there's no way it's this bad for other teams right?

Dude, I've been saying this for years. The Jazz arena ALWAYS has electronic problems. Whether it's the shot lock expiring too soon or the shot clock clock not starting at all, it's a ****ing joke. They need to clean house with all of those operators.

So happy to see Pimples turn his play around. A couple of big 3s early the 4th. A a nice assist to JJ.
He really is turning the corner.

Also big comeback game for Hill.

Tough win we really had to have.

Unfortunately, you're never getting a 100% healthy favors when he has another bone contusion with his knee.

next year should be interesting. even if its his last in a jazz uniform he will be playing for a contract. we'll see the best hes got given his
medical problems.

Just watched the game. Some of things that stood out to me. . .

1. JazzFanz can be kind of bitchy and negative. At no point was this game feeling out of reach, but it sure felt that way reading the first half of this thread.

2. Chris Paul is a bitch. **** him. Withey had two fouls on Paul, and he should have hacked him a little harder instead of pulling back. Earn those fouls. Games like this make me miss Trevor Booker. He'd have matched their aggressiveness and shoved their intensity up their whiny asses.

3. Gobert and Hayward are flat out studs and franchise players. Real deal. Now they need all the help they can get.

4. Speaking of that. . . thank God for Joe Jesus. Guy is worth every penny and then some. Him at the 4 has been a revelation that will prove invaluable in the playoffs.

5. Speaking of that (part 2). . . Jazz HAVE to keep Joe Ingles. He's such a key player. At this point, it wouldn't surprise me to see Jingles start over Hood when the games start counting for something more if Rodney can't break out of his slump.

6. Dante Exum looks like the kid we hoped he'd be when the Jazz drafted him. Game doesn't look too big for him. Still think he's too raw to start, but he's going to be a playoff contributor off the bench.

7. Jazz passing and shooting is exponentially better than they were last year.

8. Gobert setting the tone is huge for this team. The team responds to his energy and intensity. Hopefully they collectively play to his identity in the playoffs.

9. Diaw got WAY too many minutes. And Withey seems to have taken a step back this season. 2nd game in a row where I felt like the Jazz made a huge mistake in not claiming Bogut on waivers.

10. I'm looking forward to seeing the Gobert, JJ, Hayward, Jingles and Hill lineup in the playoffs. That's my favorite group by a mile right now. Veteran, savvy, athletic, smart, can shoot, pass and defend. Hell yeah!

LOL I've just still got my stream going for Root and I missed the first few minutes of the game and we're having shot clock problems. Seems like that happens so often to us, there's no way it's this bad for other teams right?

Not all of them had major arena adjustments so I guess our tech staff need some time to figure out how this baby works.

I post, therefore I am.

Felt like that was a pretty special win.
CP3 was in MVP mode for awhile there, but it felt like we shut down their front court amazingly well.
Lol at Ingles being -11. It kind of shows how much we were struggling at times on both ends of the floor for stretches of the game - he was clutch in those moments creating some offense when nothing much was on offer. When he is wide open, I honestly expect it to go in 80% of the time.

I have hoped a number of times that Hill and X will see the court together more often. Hill is the ultimate combo guard in many ways. Even for 4-5 minutes a night would be nice. I kind of figure it was Hood's foul trouble that led to that though - as opposed to a grand plan moving forward.

Bone contusion is a lifetime injury?

Pimples is a hilarious nickname. I'm using it from now on.
