It is good. I listen to 10-15 podcasts regularly and have been enjoying "Reply All" recently as well but "This American Life" is the gold standard.

I think it was TAL that this week had a discussion between "Clinton" and "Abedin" regarding the Weiner controversy. It was kinda perfect.

I would say This American Life is consistently the best podcast out there, if I was to recommend a podcast to someone new to the podcasting world that would be it.
My entire life consists of listening to podcasts. I've been listening to them for over 8 years. It has turned into a compulsive behavior at this point, I'm always plugged in listening to either a podcast or an audiobook.

My rotation of podcasts include:
Waking Up: With Sam Harris
Radiolab
Freakonomics
EconTalk
Joe Rogan Experience
Weekly Poker Hand with Jonathan Little
Dan Carlin's Hardcore History
Tim Ferriss Show

and The Lowe Post, The Vertical, Dunc'd On, etc. pretty much every popular NBA show I'll listen to depending on the guest.

This American Life is good, although it is a hit or a miss. I love The Moth Radio Hour.

The Moth Radio Hour is awesome, but I don't catch it all the time.

I also really like Radiolab.

I listened to the Startup podcast, which is I think about the guy who made This American Life, but I don't know what it actually is. Is it a continuous story type thing, or just like a radio show?

NPROne is a good app

Locally Radio West is pretty damn good. Doug Fabrizio knows how to do an interview and you can tell that he is always insanely well prepared.

I also enjoy Both Sides of the Aisle.

malcom gladwell's revisionist history is really good. Although it's only ten episodes, and he might do another season next year sometime.

Pin/Kings from espn is awesome. Like riveting.

I was not familiar with podcasts until I started listening to this 20 chapter story called Crimetown. It's popular I guess, as it rose to the top of the iTunes Charts. I can't recommend it highly enough.

It's about Providence and the New England mob. The Raymond Patriarca crime family. Patriarca was a boss's boss, a member of the Casa Nostra national commission, and often settled disputes among the NY families. He was also my grandmother's landlord, and we were the only Irish family in the Mafia stronghold known as Silver Lake. Wiseguys everywhere when I was growing up.

I'm new to podcasts, but this one is pretty addicting. Usually updated every Sunday afternoon....

Not joking. How do I listen to podcasts? Through my phone? Laptop?

I guess you can just listen with your browser. The episode page I left a link to has audio links for that particular podcast. And I guess you can also download them from iTunes. I just use my browser to listen to Crimetown.
