Playoff Game 6: Jazz vs Clippers 4/28/17 8:30 PM, ROOT, ESPN

So what's his deal? Lack of coaching? Lack of maturity? Basketball iq? Work ethic? Getting zero from our draft picks over the past few years is killing us. We shouldn't have to rely on a 40 year old Boris or some kid from Brazil when we had two lottery picks.
Raw and inexperienced coming off an acl surgery. If he can't make a marked improvement next year then he provably just isn't that good.

The guy has to have his arm extended and he didn't on either of those. If you are going to call that you also have to call the moving screen. It's just such BS.
Its crazy one on one D they are allowed to body up, but you touch someone around a pick and its a shooting foul? When did the refs decode to start doing this?

Stop blaming the refs.

We got outplayed, out hustled, and out worked on both ends. Clips played great defense, and when we did get open looks we missed too many of them.

Doc layed into his team after a 6 point swing in the beginning of the second QT. They responded.

As I said in the first part of the this thread this game would come down to offense. In these tight close out games your offense can leave you.
I feared our 3 pt shooting would go cold, and it did. No one really stepped up, and the Clips forced us into a lot of tough bad shots.

You're so ****ing whiny. You would never watch the sport if you believed half of the **** you type.
I don't watch any NBA Other then the Jazz. Hell watch any LeBron or Warriors game and tell me there isn't bias.

Guys Neto did well... we rode him too long though... and he shot two awful shots.

Overall he was positive and did exactly what you are saying Exum would have.

Hood Johnson and Ingles need to make some shots... end of story.

Love Diaw, and Ingles I just don't like both of them together.

I really want to upgrade Diaw, and get a big who can defend/score down low. I think Boris has helped our team out this year(esp Rudy) but he needs to be upgraded if we want to make a deep run.

Time to get away from basketball and sports sites until Sunday. I'm wondering, what do you guys do after a ****ty loss like this?

Wouldn't he be entering his 4th year? And of those 4 years only 1 has he been injured for. Right?
He was raw to start with. He was a 2 year project regardless and the injury set him further back.

However, the kid could still be very valuable. He has intangibles other guys don't like speed, first step and size. He needs copious minutes.

I honestly think we might be holding off on his minutes to control his extension. If he had one breakout playoff game, his cost could double.

He wasn't as bad as portrait by some. He fights through screens and defends well. He took a couple of bad shoots but at the time our whole offense was in mud

Right there with you... Hayward gets wrapped up all game... gets half the calls he should. Touch a guy going around a screen or just try to be close and he jumps back to you and it's a foul.

I would think the refs would get sick of being fooled and not call it... only would take a few times looking stupid not getting the call to fix it.

That lineup at the end was just an awful bunch... no idea what Quin was thinking.

Its like when you lie and then tell a hundred lies to cover up that lie. The refs called this **** one day for James Harden and where like " this is totally a foul guys we call it for everyone" then just started calling it all the time.

So we aren't playing a player that could help us win games now over fears that it might cost more to resign him later?

Ok...

So why isn't Lyles playing? What's his issue? Basketball iq? Work ethic? Has he been injured?
