There is no way he's coming back next year, 1-0 down, 2nd round of the playoffs and he won't suit up. Reckon Gary Payton would have done that? And this bloke wants a max deal? His heart pumps Kool Aid.

Remember how Gordon sat out most of game 4 against Clips? He tried to go and realized, according to Snyder, that his attempt at being a hero was hurting the team. If Hill could go he'd go. He's getting ready for a big contract.

True. And this is why he doesn't deserve a big contract. No way.
 
I'm not a doctor so tell me if I'm wrong, but as long as his toe isn't broken, can't he just play through the pain?? While I hope he only misses one game, I'll also be a little annoyed if he is back after one game because it probably means he could've played tonight. Am I wrong?

I don't mind him missing this if he can get right for the Utah home games, which we'd have a greater percentage chance of winning anyways.

That being said, I think the key to beating the Dubs is going to be forcing turnovers - AND SCORING off those opportunities. Exum and Neto are both two of our best at that - so big minutes for them could end up being a plus.

34 games missed to sore toe and other little injuries. Yes, playing with it hurts. But at clear he's trying to protect himself in a contract year. No way I pay that dude with his chronic injuries. This is Carlos Boozer 2.0. Somewhere John Stockton is laughing.
 
So, tbh, I pretty much considered the season over once Jazz reached GSW, but I was hoping they have one or two minor injuries to improve our chances. But of course, the opposite happens.

Blake Griffin had surgery on his toe ....Hill is a deep plant and pushoff from hurting his big toe as well .

Not the same injury but Memo had achilles strains before he tore his achilles in the playoffs trying to do too much.

So according to you, having a sense of humor requires one to either make or enjoy misogynist jokes? I have a wife. She's strong. I have a daughter. She's brave. I have sisters and a mom who kick ***. I'm sick and tired of seeing people make jokes about athletes equating them with women as though that would be a bad thing. It's not funny. It's childish and sexist. Negged for having a ****ty sense of humor with regard to misogynist jokes. And negged you too for defending it.
 
I am telling you guys Hill is not worth more than 8-10 per year. We better pay 15-16 million to someone who is worth it and let Hill go.
We will probably löse this game but at least playing Exum would give the young clumsy guy some experience. And Lyles too would love to see him play some mins, not in garbage time, but more in place of Diaw.

Get rid of him, assemble something else from the spare parts on the free agent market. I thought his body language after the Clippers series in the press conference was interesting Gordon was talking about the growth of the team, the fans ect, Favors was nodding along and Hill just sat there waiting for someone to ask him a question. I doubt his pay day will be what he thinks it is.

Hill is one of the most reserved guys on the team. If it weren't for Joe Johnson, he'd be the most reserved. I don't think analyzing his body language in a press conference, when he's always had an even affect, is very useful. The nagging injuries and age issue are legit to be concerned about. And if he was a problem in the locker room or on the floor that would be bad, too. But the coaches and his teammates have always had good things to say about him. I don't want to overpay him, but I don't want to go to far by claiming some sort of character issues when it isn't obvious.
